PNW4WDA Announces $15,000 Matching Donation to Help Support Oregon Dunes Legal Defense
To help support this effort, PNW4WDA will match donations dollar for dollar, up to a total of $15,000.
That means a $50 donation becomes $100 for the defense, doubling the impact of contributions while matching funds remain available.
Pacific Northwest Four Wheel Drive Association Partners with BlueRibbon Coalition to Help Protect Motorized Recreation Access
The Pacific Northwest Four Wheel Drive Association (PNW4WDA) is stepping up to support the ongoing effort to protect off-highway vehicle access in the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area.
BlueRibbon Coalition (BRC) has formally entered the lawsuit involving off-highway vehicle use in the Oregon Dunes, bringing its legal and financial resources alongside Save the Riders Dunes.
To help support this effort, PNW4WDA will match donations dollar for dollar, up to a total of $15,000.
That means a $50 donation becomes $100 for the defense, doubling the impact of contributions while matching funds remain available.

Why This Matters
The lawsuit involves off-highway vehicle recreation in the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. According to BRC, the Center for Biological Diversity sued the U.S. Forest Service in June 2024, challenging the agency's management of OHV activity and large riding events in relation to the coastal marten and its designated critical habitat.
Save the Riders Dunes, a local volunteer organization, has been actively involved in the case. BlueRibbon Coalition has now joined the effort, providing additional legal and financial resources.
For PNW4WDA, supporting this effort reflects the Association's longstanding commitment to motorized recreation and continued access to public lands.
