As a T1D Mom, this statement really resonates with me. The 2 a.m. checks, the constant "what ifs", the smiling on the outside while your mind never rests. If you are parenting a child with Type 1 Diabetes, you know this isn't just physical - it's emotional, mental, and relentless.

I wrote What Happened to Normal? for the parents carrying the burdens no one sees. For the ones who display daily bravery in the face of adversity. This book is for you. You are not alone.
