Big congratulations to three of our Dawgs for earning All Tournament Team honors last weekend in Charlotte!

These boys stepped up, competed hard, and made an impact all weekend long. Proud of the way they represented the Elite Diamond Dawgs and helped set the tone for the team.

MORE THAN BASEBALL. 🐾❤️
Tomorrow, a few of our EDD 13U National and 12U National players are trading their own game day for an opportunity to help someone else enjoy theirs.
Our Dawgs will be spending Saturday morning volunteering with the Mauldin Miracle League—serving as buddies, cheering on the athletes, and sharing the game we all love.
Because raising the standard has never been just about what happens between the lines.
It’s about teaching our boys to show up for others. To use their time and talents to serve. To understand that being part of a team—and being a leader—means giving back to the community that supports them.
And we’d love for the rest of the Pound to join us. ❤️

🔥⚾ PLAYERS OF THE WEEK ⚾🔥

Avery Koontz was outstanding on the mound against SBA National, the #8 ranked team in the country. Avery competed with confidence, attacked hitters, and gave us 4.2 strong innings with 5 strikeouts and only 1 earned run against one of the best teams around. That’s competing at a high level.

Liam Smith had himself an absolute WEEKEND at the plate — going a perfect 8-for-8 with a home run and 8 RBI! And when we needed a big swing, Liam delivered a GRAND SLAM that put the Dawgs back on top in the game.

Congrats Avery & Liam — keep working, keep competing, and keep raising the standard!

🔥⚾ PROUD OF THESE DAWGS! ⚾🔥

The boys stepped into a Majors tournament this weekend and showed they belonged on the field with anybody. They competed from the first pitch to the last, battled through every game, and never backed down.

One of the biggest tests came against the #8 nationally ranked team, and our boys gave them everything they could handle. That kind of competition is exactly what makes a team better, tougher, and more confident.

Coach Scott was asked what he was most proud of this weekend: " What I was most proud of this weekend was the way our team competed against some of the best teams out there. I’ve been pushing this group to embrace that level of competition, and this weekend we proved that we are every bit as physical, talented, and capable as the top teams."

🔥⚾ CHARLOTTE BOUND — WEEKEND SCHEDULE ⚾🔥

The Elite Diamond Dawgs 12U National are headed to Charlotte this weekend for the 2026 12U PG Charlotte BCS Youth Regional (MAJOR) and the boys are ready to get after it.

Saturday starts early with Game 1 at 8:30 AM against Mill Town 12U Trosky, followed by Game 2 at 10:30 AM against Foundry Black at TM Winget Park.

This group continues to grow every week, and this is another opportunity to compete against strong teams, play with confidence, and prove what Dawg baseball is all about. Every pitch, every at-bat, every inning — compete for each other.

Stay focused. Stay aggressive. Trust your teammates. Bring the DAWG MENTALITY.

🔥 PLAYER OF THE WEEK — BRODY TISDALE 🔥

Sometimes all it takes is one weekend to flip the switch.

Brody had been going through a tough stretch at the plate, but he stayed with it, kept working, and broke out in a BIG way this weekend. He finished with a .750 average, 6 hits, 3 home runs and 10 RBIs, helping the Diamond Dawgs bring home the championship and earning MVP honors along the way. 🏆💣

That’s what sticking with the process looks like. Baseball will test you, but Brody responded in a huge way when his team needed him.
