The Surfcaster

Thank you, thank you, thank you to all who participated, visited, and helped out behind the scenes at the Fall Kickoff Open House yesterday.
We were fortunate to have the 3 premiere surf reel manufacturers in our shop - thanks to Van Staal, Visser, and Zeebaas for spending the day and showcasing your great products! GW Customs brought a literal truckload of their rods for all of us to check out and learn more about. The CT Surfcasters Club, Dominic Piccirillo, and Fatty Lures were there with some of their gear.
Special thanks to Mr Fran McGrath for an incredible food selection. My wife added some salads too for all to enjoy.
Thanks to Rich Filakovski too for all the time and effort before, during, and after this event!

Congratulations to the raffle winners that entered the drawings.
Without everyone’s support (several others not mentioned), this event wouldn’t happened. We are grateful!

Is there a more exciting time of the year for most fishermen?! Come on by on August 29th to get in the swing of the Fall season with us! You’ll get a chance to save some money on gear, meet some fellow fishy peeps, and learn more about some exciting products that have landed at the shop this year. We are taking a well earned Summer break. The shop and online store will be closed from Wednesday 7/29 thru Sunday 8/9. Orders can be placed but will not ship until I return.

We are looking forward to some time off before the kids school, sports, and Fall run kick into gear.

Yesterday was a huge milestone!

We hit 500,000 listens yesterday morning- a HALF MILLION. When we started this podcast, we had no idea what we were doing, or even where it would go, and really just wanted to talk about Surfcasting and share our experiences. However, In just over 2.5 years we've rocketed up to one of the top fishing podcasts across the entire fishing world! We're proud and humbled!
