Yesterday, we were blessed to have a former Bobcat come back home and spend some time with our football program.
He spoke to our players about brotherhood, adversity, and the importance of fighting through difficult times together. His message comes from personal experience. He is currently battling kidney failure and undergoes dialysis three days a week for 4 hour sessions.
After practice, he shared how much Seneca Football still means to him and how much it meant to have so many of our players embrace him, encourage him, and let him know that they would be praying for him.
That is what the Bobcat Brotherhood is supposed to be about. Football may bring us together, but the relationships and the responsibility to care for one another extend far beyond the field.
Our former Bobcat is currently in need of a kidney transplant, and we want to use our platform to help spread his story and hopefully connect him with someone who may be able to help.
We are asking the entire Bobcat community to keep him in your prayers and help us share his story.
Once a Bobcat, always a Bobcat.
Brotherhood is bigger than football.
