On Thursday September 10th at 1810 hrs the Seneca County Communications Center dispatched the Seneca Falls Volunteer Fire Department, the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department , the Fayette Vol Fire Dept , the Waterloo Fire Dept, the Geneva Fire Department, and North Seneca Ambulance to an address on Cayuga Street for smoke possibly coming from the roof. District Chief Farnsworth ( 1461 ) was enroute and on location within 1 minute reporting smoke showing from a 2 story residential declaring a working fire. Seneca Falls Quint 1, Engine 3, Engine 1, Rescue 52, 1461, 1463, 1464, and 1465 all responded. Other units assisting on scene was Fayette, Waterloo, Geneva, Tyre, Clyde, Oaks Corners Rehab, North Seneca Ambulance, Nyseg, Seneca County Code Enforcement, Seneca County Fire Investigation team, Seneca County Fire Coordinators , Seneca Falls Police Department and the Seneca Falls and Waterloo Auxiliaries. Special thanks to the Seneca County Communications Center on a job well done and to the Canoga Fire Dept for standing by at the Seneca Falls Station covering the Town while we were tied up. Fortunately there were no injuries to tenants or first responders.
