A Friday game for stringers: Got a counterfeit PD21 in for stringing and a regrip. Count the differences between the real one on the right and the counterfeit on the left. Both are supposedly 300g 100" standard PD21s, so not a model variation and not prostock. I'll also give you the hoop thickness diff of -1.5mm thick on the fake since that's too hard to see in the photo

What they said! So many players come to me and say "I always string at 52" and make no adjustments when they hand me a new racquet that's 3 sq inches bigger.

The dynamic tension is *lower* when you pull 52 across 100 sq in vs 97 and you will launch the ball much deeper into the court accordingly.

Hey, Did you know ASC in Wallingford sells tennis balls? No need to schlep to Northgate !

We have your basic Penn Championship XD ($5), US Open RDs ($7) and both XD and RD Diadem Premiers for $6.

The Diadem balls are hands down the best value both in how long they last and how they're priced.

And ASC stringing customers can get a great deal on 24 can cases of Diadem Premiers. Just ask next time you drop off your racquet!

At ASC Labs, we're constantly exploring, pushing boundaries and challenging established conventions on how much pink is *too* much pink.

Idk who needs to hear this, but your stringer needs to be following the manufacturer's pattern or they void the warranty.

I've had new customers bring me these Head Exteme's which they say feel "dead" to them from the moment they got them back from their previous stringer and in all instances, they were strung in one-piece which starts the crosses at the bottom and stresses the racquet as you squeeze it to its most vulnerable point.

If your Head racquet was one-pieced, don't accept it until you ask to see Head's pattern on their website, then ask to have your racquet replaced.
