A common thread creations

Here at A Common Thread sustainability is very important, and that means I always look for ways to be creative with the smaller pieces of fabric I have leftover. This week my scrap bin was bursting at the seams so I took it as a sign to make more leg warmers. These and many more things will be for sale Saturday at the Christmas in July market in downtown Woodinville.

Winning bobbin chicken is always satisfying but the late night wins on a last minute project are the best! Matching shirts for oldest and her friend after I realized today that tomorrow’s spirit theme was twinning. Also love that they’re almost identical placements of the print.

Last minute notice but I’m set up at Urban brewing until 6pm. It’s a beautiful day to make a trip into Seattle for all my Eastside customers. Come see me and then hit up the Ballard farmers market or the Zoo.
