Seattle Somali Week stands on RESPECT • DISCIPLINE • SPORTSMANSHIP • ACCOUNTABILITY.

After SSW 2026, the committee has reviewed all conduct, team responsibilities, and rule violations.

Disciplinary decisions affecting SSW 2027 eligibility will be announced soon.

This is not personal, it’s about protecting the integrity of Seattle Somali Week.

Now that Seattle Somali Week 2026 is complete, we sincerely thank everyone who helped make this historic event possible.

Our deepest appreciation goes to our partner, Voices of Tomorrow. Your generous support, leadership, and collaboration were essential to the success of Seattle Somali Week. Together, our organizations created meaningful opportunities for our community, and the August 14 Community Festival will always be remembered as a special celebration of culture and unity.

Thank you to Najma and her volunteer team, Fahmi Mohamud, every coach and player, our sponsors, vendors, security officers, Highline School District, fans, families, and friends. Every contribution mattered.
