New Association being built, If we build it they will come, Go the distance

07/08/2026

These guys are apparently having the busiest, most successful month of their lives… and still somehow manage to crank out 25 hours of content a day announcing it.
No sales numbers. No tournament results. No proof of anything. Just the same tired face, the same three claims, and another round of “this is the best bat ever” on loop.
At this point the content isn’t marketing — it’s a cry for attention.
First rule when you realize you’re in a hole?
Stop. Fu***ng. Digging

Pitchers the game misses so badly it still wakes up in a cold sweat.
These absolute legends of slow-pitch psychological warfare will never be forgotten (no matter how hard the rest of us try).

Pat Wayne – The human equivalent of a 4-hour DMV line. He didn’t just slow the game down… he weaponized boredom until every hitter was so enraged they started swinging like they were trying to end a blood feud instead of hit a soft-toss. Pure chaos. 10/10 no notes.

Teddy Larson – Lived on the very front edge of the rubber like it owed him money. Constantly “adjusting” every single defensive player… not to actually help, mind you, but purely to make hitters overthink themselves into an early grave. Spoiler: it worked every damn time. The man was a walking mind virus.

Jim Burbrink – Owner of a blistering 45 mph “heater.” Somehow convinced umpires that this gentle float was a strike zone laser for seven straight innings. Absolute wizard. Scientists still can’t explain it. Neither can the hitters who watched strike three drift past them at the speed of a sleepy butterfly.

Paul Drilling – The Mental Master™. Talked more than he pitched. Narrated every at-bat like a color commentator who hated you personally. Manipulated hitters and umpires with the same smooth, relentless stream of pure psychological garbage. Somehow it worked. The man could sell ice to a polar bear and then call the polar bear out on strikes.

Greg Cannedy – Built like a human crane. Parked himself on the front of the rubber, jumped, and those freakishly long arms made the ball appear in the catcher’s mitt before you finished deciding whether to swing. Athletic. Charismatic. Deeply unfair. The walking embodiment of “why is this legal?”

These gentlemen didn’t just pitch.
They committed slow-pitch war crimes… and we miss them dearly.

NO MORE HIDDEN PICKLES
A male player participated in a women’s championship game at a Canadian softball tournament sanctioned by NSA. Throughout the game he was intentionally walked on every plate appearance.
His team’s decision to include him in that manner undermined the integrity of the competition and the other women who earned their place in the final.
I have already contacted NSA USA. They are reviewing the situation, and the process to have the championship result nullified and voided is underway.
Fair play and the protection of women’s divisions must remain non-negotiable.

Busted!!!!

This man organized a whole 1-team tournament…
Paid for the uniforms
Paid for the sanctioning
Had an entire group of guys showing up thinking it was real
All so he could take these pictures and put them on his Tinder profile to look athletic.
No games were ever played.
It was 100% for the dating app.
You can’t make this s**t up.
Of course he was MVP.

$750 championship rings for beating the bye.

Garage Force (Class D, South Dakota) started their own tournament…
No other teams entered.
So they awarded themselves the State Championship, got pro studio photos, and ordered seven-hundred-fifty-dollar rings.
This isn’t even a bit. This is real life.

Bob Frapples
just entered the chat… and already has me ready to throw the whole bucket of balls at his head. This clown emails me all sweet:
“Hey brother, I don’t even care about being on the reviews, I just wanna pitch and learn.” Same exact script every single one of these guys runs. Shows up… and two weeks later he’s launching his own show called “How Do You Like Them Apples.”
Well Bob, I don’t like them apples. Not even a little bit. Let me paint the picture for you:
I pay for the field.
I pay for the balls.
I pay for the bats.
I pay for the nets.
I do all the actual pitching. This guy asks me for gas money.Shows up late.
Every single pitch is high and outside like he’s allergic to the strike zone — knowing damn well anything over 290 to right field is a lost ball.
We only have the field for two hours. Needs a potty break every 30 minutes.
Water every 15.
Then has the nerve to ask if he can take a dozen balls home “for practice.”I’m finally about to step in and take some hacks… and what happens?
Three girls pull up in a car and ol’ Bob Frapples is gone faster than a cheap bat in cold weather. You cannot make this s**t up. Eli already bounced because he wanted more air-time and couldn’t play nice with the other bat reviewers.
Now I’ve got Bob Frapples over here treating BP like a dating app with soft-toss privileges. Welcome to the Boom, Bob.
You’re gonna fit in just fine… right up until you don’t. Who’s ready for the Bob Frapples era?

Dennis Pierce

Steele’s. Chase. Long Haul.
A true legend of the game who left us today.
Dennis was one of those guys you didn’t forget. The kind of player who walked onto a field and made everyone take notice — not just because of the size and the power, but because of the presence. He represented the old-school toughness and pride that defined teams like Steele’s, Chase, and Long Haul.
Guys like Dennis built the reputation of those uniforms. They didn’t just play the game… they carried it.
The softball community lost a piece of its history today. But the stories, the swings, the presence, and the respect he earned will stay with everyone who shared the field with him.
Rest easy, big man.
The game will not forget you.

Official Update – Tyler Marshburn Scratched from Tonight’s Bomber Show
Tyler Marshburn has been scratched from tonight’s event.
Not due to injury.
Not due to travel complications.
Not for the usual “personal reasons.”
His wife simply didn’t pack him a clean T-shirt.
Free flight. Free room.
Zero fabric softener.
While nearly 90 people scrambled to solve a problem that never should have existed, one woman looked him straight in the eye and delivered the line of the night:
“Your mistake is not my emergency.”
The laundry basket remains undefeated.
You truly cannot make this up.
Better luck next time, Tyler. We’ll save you a seat… and maybe a clean shirt.Tyler Marshburn@topfansSteele Lewis
