Rapper Flo Rida performed at the Great American State Fair on the National Mall, a multi-day festival organized by the Freedom 250 group to celebrate the upcoming 250th anniversary of the United States.

Rapper Flo Rida faced heavy criticism online from critics calling him a "sellout" for honoring his contract. On stage during his set, Flo Rida kept his message focused on unity and faith rather than politics.

"We put God first. With Jesus Christ, we can do anything."

A viral livestream by internet personality Sneako sparked widespread backlash after he celebrated Egypt's World Cup victory in New York City and declared, “This is the Islamic Republic of New York-istan,” adding that “Islam will be in every household” and “Inshallah the whole world will be Muslim.”

While broadcasting from a crowd of Egyptian soccer fans, Sneako invoked the name of Zohran Mamdani, saying, “Welcome to Mamdani’s New York,” and suggesting other cities should one day look the same.

The clip quickly spread across social media, drawing millions of views and sharp criticism.

It's heartbreakingly beautiful when top athletes and their teams lose while still giving thanks to God for His blessings. Last night, the U.S. men's soccer team bowed for a final prayer on the field after losing a gut-wrenching game to Belgium.

U.S. defender Mark McKenzie has been leading the U.S. World Cup team in prayer after each game, win or lose. Last night was no different, even after the players' dreams were dashed.

There have been Christian players on so many teams at the World Cup, pausing to honor God on the field, even in their moments of loss. Brazil's Danilo Santos is one of them, seen in this photo on the left, praying at the end of the World Cup round of 16 soccer loss to Norway on Sunday.

Chinese house church Pastor Ezra Jin Mingri, founder of Beijing Zion Church, has been released from detention in China and arrived in Los Angeles, less than two months after President Donald Trump raised his case with Chinese President Xi Jinping. According to ChinaAid, Chinese officials told Jin his release followed Trump-Xi discussions and was presented as a goodwill gesture coinciding with America’s Independence Day.

Jin is now reunited with his family, who thanked Trump and said the release could not have happened without Xi’s direct intervention. His daughter Grace Jin Drexel had earlier urged Trump to raise Jin’s case, along with that of jailed Hong Kong publisher Jimmy Lai, during his Beijing visit. Trump later said Xi would “strongly consider” Jin’s case, while calling Lai’s case “a tough one.”

Jin and other Zion Church leaders were detained in October during one of China’s largest crackdowns on a single underground church in decades. Advocates welcomed Jin’s release but warned that at least eight Zion Church members remain detained. Zion Church, founded in 2007, became one of China’s largest house churches after refusing government demands to install surveillance equipment.

Evangelist Ross Johnston said hundreds of public school students in California responded to an altar call and gave their lives to Jesus, calling the moment “so powerful.” He wrote that after the club event ended, his team continued “praying and talking to students for hours” as students shared personal struggles and experienced freedom.

Johnston described “tears streaming down their faces” as students opened up about “the darkest things of life,” saying he believes “something supernatural” is taking place on public school campuses.

He said his ministry has visited 70 schools across five states in recent years and has seen “just over two thousand salvations,” calling the moment “the opportunity of a generation.”

Scientist Josef Chaloupka says his journey to faith in Jesus Christ began with a Bible that was handed to him outside the university where he worked.

With a background in automation, robotics, programming, and electronics, Chaloupka said he had long believed that only evidence could establish truth. He accepted the Bible out of curiosity, intending to better understand Christianity and engage in discussions with believers.

As he read the Scriptures, he says his perspective changed. Rather than seeing the Bible as a collection of myths, he found it to be coherent and meaningful, leading him to reconsider his assumptions about God and the person of Jesus Christ.

Chaloupka shared that he was especially struck by Jesus' compassion, character, and purpose, saying these discoveries prompted him to continue seeking God.

His testimony reflects a personal journey from skepticism to faith and serves as an example of how reading the Bible has influenced the lives of many people around the world.

NBA star Stephen Curry has often spoken about the purpose that drives his life, making it clear that his faith in Jesus Christ comes before basketball.

One message widely associated with Curry reflects that conviction:

"My purpose is greater than basketball. Every shot, every game, every moment—it's all for the glory of God."

Throughout his career, Curry has consistently used his platform to point people toward his faith, reminding fans that success on the court is temporary, but living for Christ has eternal significance.

For many Christians, his example is an encouragement to honor God not only in church, but in every area of life. Whatever gifts or opportunities we have, they are ultimately meant to bring glory to Him.

The Bible says:

"So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God." — 1 Corinthians 10:31

May Stephen Curry's testimony remind us that our greatest purpose is not found in achievements or recognition, but in faithfully living for the glory of Jesus Christ.
