I LOVE that some online selling platforms such as Vinted & Etsy ban selling real fur, even vintage! I wish all the platforms would.

There are many other useful ways to repurpose an old fur coat that helps animals, such as for beds, housing, wildlife rehab, etc., so there are organizations that take them.

So what’s your favorite online reseller platform…Ebay, Poshmark, Whatnot, Mercari, Depop, Marketplace, Etsy, Vinted or other & why?

My Angel, my soul dog, my heart!
My life was blessed beyond words with my darling Angel constantly by my side, now forever in my heart.

This day is to celebrate how special dogs are, to encourage adoption from rescues & shelters, and to honor canine heroes & “working” dogs-(which for this post, I won’t debate “working”, because I don’t agree with all the ways dogs are used, but I will still honor their service). ❤️🐾

Hug & love your babies tightly, and never take them for granted. I’d love to see your special sweethearts in the comments!

UPDATE: 🐈‍⬛ interesting cat psychology…
If you saw the reel, I made yesterday showing my cat Shanti, cautious of my animal print bath mats, even though she’s safely lived with them for two years, I got to the bottom of it!

So first you might ask why haven’t I just picked them up sooner? And that’s a good question but time goes by so fast for me that I don’t realize it’s been so long.

I adopted Shanti in June 2024 a week after my Angel passed, so my other cat KittyKing, (who was already grieving Angel & Milo) would get distracted and stop grooming all the hair off his body from stress of the losses.

OK, so back to the bathmat, I started making them into tunnels in hopes of desensitizing her to them. I really like the cushy mats and I’m a freak for animal print. I thought it was working since she loves the tunnels, but soon as I flatten them out again I’m seeing that she won’t step on them and she creeps really slow slowly past them.

Finally, I flipped them over so the plain rubber side is up just to test her and within seconds she’s laying all over them, happily meowing loudly and purring like crazy!! (Yes she is happy in photo mid- meooooooow!

Cats are silly, silly silly and actually, truth is they are very smart, sensitive, sentient beings with very strong instincts.

So there you have it, case closed with the result being Shanti must think I have sleeping 🐆 cheetahs on the floor. Still doesn’t explain why she doesn’t mind my bed sheets or this couch in same pattern but that’s a case for another day! ❤️

Remember hand writing recipes for your recipe box or is that before your time- waaaay back in the 1900’s- when cursive writing was still used? 🤔

This Roasted Cauliflower Hummus was so delicious that we ate it all before taking a photo, so this pic isn’t mine…🤣 but if you’ve seen hummus before, you know they all look basically the same depending on what you add to it!

Here’s the cursive handwritten recipe. This would make an awesome spread on sandwiches or for those who prefer cauliflower instead of chickpeas when in their hummus.
