Our Varsity Girls Flag Football team is currently one of the TOP SELLING TEAMS in the Aviator Athletics 50/50 Raffle! 🎟️🔥
Now we need YOUR help!
Our girls are building something brand new at ALA this year. As an inaugural program, we know firsthand how important fundraising is to providing our athletes with the uniforms, equipment, training resources, and opportunities they need.
And this fundraiser doesn't just support us — money raised for Aviator Athletics helps support the needs of ALL of our athletic programs. 💙

🏈💙 FINAL IN OVERTIME 💙🏈

TMSA Tigers 14 | ALA Aviators 13

What an incredible first game for our Lady Aviators! They battled through overtime and finished just one point short—but what they accomplished tonight was about so much more than the final score.

These girls didn’t come to us from another football team. They haven’t spent years playing in recreation leagues or learning the game since they were seven. Every girl on this team is new to football—and tonight, they made history!

Did we make a few small mistakes? Of course. Even athletes who have played this sport for years make mistakes. What matters is that we now know what we need to work on—and Wednesday, we’ll be back in the lab working on it!

We could not be prouder of the heart, effort, courage, and determination these ladies showed in their first game ever. When you see one of our Lady Aviators, please tell her how proud you are. They played an amazing game!

🏈💙 TODAY, WE MAKE HISTORY! 💙🏈

Our Lady Aviators will take the field tonight for the first Girls Flag Football game in Ascend Leadership Academy history!

The team will be proudly wearing their blue jerseys at school today. If you see one of our ladies in the hallway, be sure to congratulate her, wish her luck, and show your Aviator support!

Tonight, we travel to face the TMSA Tigers in our first non-conference contest. Come out, fill the sidelines, and cheer on our Lady Aviators as they begin this exciting new chapter!
