Sometimes the hardest battle is in your head. A little activity, a little community, and simply getting out of the house can help ease the weight.

So, veterans — we’ve got 10 free entries to the Beat the Heat 5K on Saturday, August 22 in Kyle!

No catch. No cost. We just need to verify your veteran status for our grant requirements, and then we’ll send you a code to cover 100% of your race entry.

Head over to www.outsidersanonymous.org to complete the quick verification form and claim your spot. Codes will be sent within one hour of verification.

Only 10 free entries are available, so don’t wait.

Come run. Come walk. Come suffer through the Texas heat with the rest of us. Just come be around some good people.

Veteran Pop-Up Event – Memorial Day

This Memorial Day, we’re honored to give back to our veteran neighbors with a free afternoon of food, fun, and community.

Join Outsiders Anonymous and the Texas Veterans Commission on Monday, May 25 from 11AM–1PM at Memorial Mini Golf in Buda for:

• FREE mini golf for veterans
• FREE meal from Schnitzy’s
• Good company and community

Bring your friends and family out too — we’ve got the veteran’s entry covered, and we’d love for everyone to come enjoy the day together.

Please note: free veteran entries are limited and available on a first come, first served basis.

VETERANS - We need your help, y’all.

If you’re a veteran who has been supported by us, impacted by our programs, attended events, received services, or even just shown interest in veteran support efforts — PLEASE take 4 minutes to fill out this form. If you know a veteran who has, send this to them too.

Right now, with the limited services we’re still able to provide, we have a small amount of funding that depends on showing the real need and support for veterans in our community. This is a HUGE ask, but the more veterans we can demonstrate interest from, the more funding and support we can bring into Hays County and surrounding areas.

You do NOT have to live in Hays County. Surrounding counties count too.

This data helps us show:
• Veterans ARE utilizing support
• More services are needed locally
• Funding for veterans in our area matters

It only takes about 4 minutes, but your response could help open doors for more programs, more resources, and more support for local veterans and their families.

OUTSIDERS ANONYMOUS IS BACK. (Limited edition. Scrappy. Still dangerous.)

On March 15th, we’re loading up the bus and heading to the Houston Spartan Race.

And we’ve got 5 pairs of tickets with veterans’ names on them.

If you’ve felt stuck…
If you’ve felt like you lost your edge…
If civilian life feels like a different language…
If you miss the brotherhood, the suck, the shared suffering…

This might be your call-up.

We’re covering:
• Transportation (yes, the kickass bus)
• Breakfast
• One race entry (5K Sprint or 10K Super)
• A dedicated Spartan coach to get you over the walls when your brain says you can’t

You can bring a plus one — or don’t.
We roll as a team. We start together. We finish together-ish (it’s Spartan, after all).

You don’t have to be in shape.
You don’t have to have it all figured out.
You don’t have to prove anything to anyone.

Alright yall - the Buda Turkey Trot is one of our biggest fundraisers... we're still trying to claw our way out of the hole we found ourselves in - thanks Elon - and could use some volunteer help this Thanksgiving.

The Buda Turkey Trot is just around the corner, and we need some amazing humans to help us make Thanksgiving morning run smoothly — literally.

We need volunteers to help with:
🦃 Packet pickup (day-of)
🎉 Handing out medals
🚗 Parking direction & general crowd-helping heroics
👨‍👩‍👧 And yes — kids are absolutely welcome to tag along and help!

🚨 COMMUNITY WORK DAY TOMORROW 🚨

Outsiders—we need your help.

We’ve been grinding behind the scenes to get the new gym ready, but the truth is... we’re not there yet. I've been losing my mind trying to get every detail right, and I realized I’ve been so caught up in the chaos that I forgot what we're building here: a space for all of us, a community...

So tomorrow—Saturday, April 5—we're calling on the community for one last big push to bring this thing to life.

🕘 Starting at 9 AM and going into the afternoon
🌮 Breakfast tacos in the morning + pizza for lunch
💪 We'll be painting, laying flooring, and moving equipment

We’re close. Like so close. And with your help, we can finally bring this place back to life for all the OG outsiders—and everyone still trying to find their way.

🚨Plumbing Panic at the Warehouse 🚨

Alright y’all—real talk. We’ve hit a bit of a snag in the new Outsiders Anonymous warehouse renovation. Turns out those two mystery pipes in the concrete floor? Not for the shower. We found that out the hard way… by flooding the gym. 😅

We’re not above rolling up our sleeves and figuring things out, but this one’s out of our depth. Literally.

So here’s the deal:
We desperately need a plumber (or someone with legit plumbing experience) to come take a look and tell us what the hell we’re working with. If someone is down to donate their time and help us get this shower situation sorted, we’ll say thanks the only way we know how…

Our Runfield 5K is happening this Saturday from 7-9 AM in Buda, TX, and we are desperately in need of volunteers to help make it happen. These events are a huge part of how we keep Outsiders Anonymous running, and we cannot do it alone. (Seriously, Adam is on the verge of a nervous breakdown trying to do it all himself. Send help.)
