We are still buzzing from participating in the Silicon Valley PRIDE parade this past weekend. 🌈

Armed with rainbow and trans flags, floral umbrellas, and bubbles, we walked and skated to celebrate HDRD's LGBTQIA+ pride! And lucky parade attendees received an HDRD sticker and flyer advertising our upcoming game on 9/19 against Santa Cruz!

Thank you Faultline Derby Devilz for hosting us this past weekend! While HDRD lost, the game was so fun that neither team photographed the final score! That's the sign of a good time 😂

This past Sunday, our Sprouts completed their 8th and final session of Root Camp, and we got to celebrate them with a "graduation" ceremony at Hapa's Brewery yesterday! Each skater got a certificate of completion and special Sprouts sticker! 🌸

We are so grateful for this influx of new skaters and can't want to see them blossom with HDRD! A huge shoutout to Mama Aim for designing the entire Root Camp program, and being an amazing mentor to our new skaters.

BTW, you may see some Sprouts on the track sooner than later, because we have an additional bout scheduled in October! More details to come! 👀 🌸
