This photo of Fergus makes me laugh every time I see it! When I tell you this boy LOVES food, I mean the second we held up this bowl of JustFoodForDogs, his eyes turned into full cartoon hearts and practically popped right out of his head with a giant awoooooga!
“I’ve been waiting for this moment my whole life,” I could hear him enthusiastically thinking! He was in heaven!
Thankfully, we didn’t make him wait long before he dove in head-first. 😋

When Ouija's mom told me the story about how they came to be together, we both cried. Through unexpected encounters and extreme, heart-wrenching loss, the stage had been set for this mystical girl to come into the world.
When I saw the sun dipping behind the mountains and lighting the sky with soft golden hues during our photo shoot, I knew her images were going to be magical — but as I was editing them, I couldn't help but think about how all the ones who were loved and lost before her must have been smiling down from above. How else can one explain the incredible glow of happiness radiating from Ouija's soul?
Ouija, you are pure heaven-sent sunshine! ✨

Maine just feels different from anywhere else we’ve ever been.
Maybe it’s the dark rocky coastline, the salty air, all the little hidden coves, or the way everything feels a little wild and weathered in the best possible way... or maybe it’s just the buttery scent of lobstah rolls clouding my judgment. 🦞
Either way, we’re counting down the days until we’re on the coast next month for our JustFoodForDogs photo shoot! Our Maine model casting is still open and we’d love for you to apply.

Our fifth Great American Road Trip has begun... and "adventure" started less than 20 miles in. 😆🤦♀️
The Great American Road Trip Season 5, Part 1: Missing Wheels, Dodging Tornadoes, and Visiting National Parks & Historic Spots | Westway Studio | San Diego, CA
It’s our fifth travel season and I think the universe thought we were getting a little too comfortable with our adventures. We didn’t even make it 20 miles before disaster struck. We had been preparing and doing maintenance for weeks. The morning of our departure, we did our final checks, hook...

Hey Southern Maine! We’ve driven alllllll the way from San Diego and will be visiting you in July!
Southern Coastal Maine is one of our favorite places in the whole country, and we’re planning a photo shoot for our amazing road trip sponsor, JustFoodForDogs. We’re looking for well-behaved, food-motivated dogs and their humans to participate!
Selected dogs + humans will be paid for their time and may be featured in JFFD’s marketing. So far, we’ve seen our photos used on their website and BIG in their stores! So fun!!!

There’s something I love about photographs that feel soft, dreamy, sparkly, and cinematic while still feeling true to life.
In reality, Zeus was just laser-focused on nearby chickens the entire time. 😆

I’ll always love images that feel a little like real life and a little like a memory at the same time.
That’s the magic of photographing dogs alongside their people. Being able to document the love, comfort, and connection they all share is pure gold. 💛

After years of running 30-minute studio sessions at my home, it was time for something different.
I still wanted to offer a short-and-sweet session experience, but I wanted it to happen outside in nature — where sparkly sunshine, green grass, and natural light could capture dogs in a completely different way from the studio.
Git Along Li’l Doggie sessions were born… and six years later, they’re still going strong.
My clients (both dogs and their humans!) love what we can create in just 30 minutes at a very special small-but-mighty little park right down the street from me.
Tyson had the dreamiest evening for his session, complete with maximum-level ooey gooey golden sunlight.
If you’re thinking about signing your pup up for a Git Along Li’l Doggie session, somehow our next availability is already March 2027. 🤯

There are some photographs that feel bigger than photography. The kind that stop you in your tracks and say everything without needing words.
When Jun’s mom came in to see the photos, we couldn’t leave this one on the screen too long or we’d both start tearing up. This isn't just a pretty photo. It is *them.* ❤️
