Wasabi VIP Dragon Boat Racing Team

Paddles up! The Visually Impaired Paddlers (VIP) team was formed in 2013, when we joined the Wasabi Paddling Club.

Wasabi VIP is a dragon boat racing team of blind, visually impaired and sighted paddlers who train hard and compete in races in the Pacific Northwest. Most of our paddlers are alumni of the Portland Rose Festival team Lethally Blind. Our team members range in age, and are from all walks of life.
