The biggest and baddest Modern Arnis event in the country is happening this weekend!!!!!
This event will serve as a time of celebration of the life of the man who created Modern Arnis who left us 25 years ago.
We encourage any and all who knew the man known as Remy Presas to come to the event. To share stories and memories.
And we encourage any who did not know the man to attend so that they may learn about this icon of martial artist.

Day 2: Monterrey, CA with the Chow-Hoon Ohana. GM Bobby Taboada did a private Sunday session with Professor James Muro and Professor Tim Harris. We had many visitors from different systems come out to show their support. Awesome energy from everyone and delicious food afterwards. Hope to keep this tradition of Ohana going between systems. Cheers, Mabuhay and hey it’s time to eat.

Another great workshop with GM Bobby Taboada of Taboada Balintawak in Daly City, CA. A warm welcome from the Bay Area filled with training, stories and laughter. This is GM Taboada’s 3rd trip back to the Bay and continues to share the art of Balintawak through friendship and diplomacy.
The collaboration between FQI Jessie Santiago, Legacy Filipino Martial Arts and Maktan FMA continues to share the love of Filipino Martial Arts as a mutual mission and vision. To promote and learn from all styles and systems with love and respect.

Congratulations to those who tested under Bay Area Balintawak (Taboada Balintawak Daly City, CA). We are happy that the art is continuing to grow in Northern California. But don’t forget where you came from.
Big shout out to all those who came from out of town to support this successful event. All are welcome here in the Bay. This is more than just training, it feels like a family gathering. Let’s do it again.

An awesome event at Northern Escrima Martial Arts, Las Vegas, NV 89102 in Las Vegas. A collaboration with Kada Anan Martial Arts Association in bringing together local FMA instructors to share and break bread with others in the community. Thanks to John Dacpano for and G**o Chad Tomasulo-Campos for surprising J.S. Santiago with a birthday cake. Was trying to travel incognito. Looking forward to meeting up with you guys again. Whatever happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.
