Sometimes you need to stop and give your test equipment some love.

Our b&k 1240 which is nearing 60 years old was showing signs of needed maintenance - still running on all original parts.

The electrolytics in the power supply and RF output had seen better days. After replacing them we recalibrated the set and ran it for stability check.

Works like new again. They don't build em like this anymore.

Serviced this Craig all in one with a BSR turntable. It's only flaw is a broken contact on the 8 track display light for #2. Everything else on it works now. New stylus as well.

It will be for sale soon with its speakers. Stay tuned!

Finished up servicing this late 50s Motorola Suitcase record player. Recapped electronics, cartridge and completely serviced cycling mechanism.
Someone had already replaced the idler, but that doesn't do much when the mechanism is locked up from old grease!

If you've been on the youtube channel lately, you may remember the Curtis Mathes E575r console TV with a very dead CRT we resurrected.

This was the photo the owner of the set sent back to me after he had a chance to hook it up and enjoy some old NES games.

Need your set serviced? Shoot us a message, text, email, or call and leave a voicemail.

This Kenwood kd-5070 turntable we serviced for a customer needed the butchered cable replaced, arm rest repaired, a new cartridge and cleaning the speed controls. Good sounding table!

A Kenwood kr-v95r. This needed massive resoldering, burnishing of the relay contacts for the speakers and cleaning the switches. Good sounding unit for an 80s AVR

A 1983 zenith console that had been rescued and resurrected has found a new owner.

We troubleshot and repaired the power supply and sweep sections, resolderd bad connections on the main board. CRT still has some life in it. This was a one owner, high hour set that would have hit the trash had I not saved it

Victory.

After a few hours struggling with this it's finally playing right.

This Panasonic labeled BSR turntable was about as frozen up as they come.
Customer wouldn't spring for a new idler so I had to layer rubber on the old one.
Had to find the right headshell to fit the at-3600l. Original headshell housed a tetrad.
Massive wow and flutter due to a mis-shapen platter bearing. Didn't realize it was so bad until I checked it with the calipers.

Now it's happy.
