If I had to start my fitness journey all over again, these are the 3 things I’d do differently👇
When I first started, I thought the harder I worked, the better my results would be.
❌ I spent hours doing excessive cardio.
❌ I thought sweating buckets in the sauna meant I was making progress.
❌ I changed my workouts every few weeks because I got bored and believed in “muscle confusion”
❌ I had no clue how to properly fuel my body, and I never paid attention to my daily movement.
It wasn’t until I learned the basics that everything started to change.
✨ 1. I’d start tracking my food.
Not to obsess over calories, but to actually learn what balanced nutrition looks like. Tracking taught me how much protein I was eating, where my calories were coming from, and what a well-rounded meal should actually consist of.
✨ 2. I’d prioritize water and daily steps.
These seem simple, but they’re often the habits people overlook. Staying hydrated and consistently moving throughout the day made a bigger difference than endless hours of cardio ever did.
✨ 3. I’d stick to the same workout program for 8–12 weeks.
You don’t need a brand-new routine every Monday. Your body needs time to learn movement patterns, build strength, and progressively overload. Consistency beats constantly starting over.
Fitness isn’t about doing more—it’s about doing the right things consistently.
If you’re just starting your journey, don’t make the same mistakes I did. Master the fundamentals first. 💛

Strong Starts Within
we've helped over 300 women ONLINE get healthier and stop dieting to build their dream body
Come meal prep with Coach Marissah! 🍽️
One of the biggest struggles we see with women who join our coaching program is nutrition. Whether they’re overeating, undereating, or simply don’t know *what* or *how* to eat, it all starts with building a strong foundation.
Before we ever dive into tracking macros, we teach the basics of building a balanced plate:
✨ Protein
✨ Carbohydrates
✨ Healthy fats
Once our clients understand *how* to fuel their bodies, we can introduce meal prepping and tracking in a way that actually feels sustainable.
Every coach on our team has their own routine and meal prep style, but we all agree on one thing:
👉 having a plan is one of the biggest predictors of success
One thing you’ll hear Coach Marissah say is:
“Keep it stupid simple.”
👉And she lives by it.
As a full-time employee, part-time coach, mom, and dog mom chasing her own health and fitness goals, she doesn’t have hours to spend cooking every day. Instead, she preps the staples she’ll need for the week—proteins, breakfasts, carbs, and sauces—so putting meals together takes just a few minutes.
Once everything is cooked, she portions out her staples and simply builds each meal when it’s time to eat.

5 Ways to Make Time for Workouts as a Busy Mom 💪✨
1️⃣ Micro Workouts Add Up
Even 10–15 minutes counts. Short bursts of movement done consistently beat waiting for the “perfect” hour.
2️⃣ Involve the Kids
Stroller walks, playground circuits, or turning on music for a dance party = movement for you and fun for them.
3️⃣ Stack It Onto What You Already Do
Squats while brushing teeth, pushups before your shower, stretching during bedtime stories.
4️⃣ Schedule It Like an Appointment
If it’s on your calendar, you’re less likely to push it aside. Treat your workouts like non-negotiables.
5️⃣ Give Yourself Permission to Keep It Simple
You don’t need fancy equipment or a full gym setup. A mat, your bodyweight, and consistency go a long way.
✨ Remember: your workouts aren’t just about fitness—they’re about showing up for you so you can show up for them.
At we are firm believers in not just handing out meal plans and assigning macros and sending you on your way.
We are full body transformations ✨
Your physical health
Your mental well being
How you show up in your day to day to life
How you navigate hardships
We believe that you finally deserve to reclaim your power in EVERY aspect of your life.
That’s why we preach full coaching.
Not just macros and meal plans.
Not just “here’s your training and go on your way.”
We want full, deep, mind & body transformations.
And that’s exactly what are clients walk away with.
Also why they have these killer results 😉
Because we attack your health on all fronts.
And maybe that’s exactly what you’ve been missing in your journey.
Reclaiming your power not just over your health but within every aspect of your life.
I’m not chasing the body I had before becoming a mom — I’m building a stronger, healthier version of me now.
Postpartum has been such a humbling reminder that strength looks different in every season. Some days it means a great workout and feeling proud of what my body can do. Other days it means slowing down, resting, and simply giving myself grace.
There was a time I looked in the mirror and missed the old version of me — the one who felt strong, energized, and confident. But little by little, I’ve realized she’s not gone… she’s just evolving. This body has done something incredible. It’s grown life, healed, and carried me through exhaustion, change, and growth I never expected.
I’m learning to show up from a place of love — not punishment. To move because I deserve to feel strong, not because I need to “get back” to anything.
If I have learned anything it’s that postpartum is about rebuilding, reconnecting, and honoring everything my body has done and everything it’s still capable of.
Progress looks different now — and that’s more than okay. 🤍
