Congratulations to our alum Jake Lazarus () from Southern California on signing with Tennis Borussia Berlin in Germany 🇩🇪⚽️

Jake was part of our 2021 RCD Mallorca Gap Year Program and has since gone on to play professionally in Germany for clubs including SG Wattenscheid 09, Bonner SC and SV Schermbeck.

Signing with Tennis Borussia Berlin, a strong 5th Division pro club in the capital, is a testament to Jake's continued commitment to his professional career — and to how International Soccer Academy supports its alumni long after their program ends through our extensive network of clubs across Europe.

Since launching our Pro Academy Residential Programs in 2021, we've arranged over 320 trials for talented youth and gap year players committed to pursuing their professional dreams.

Head Coach Jens Bäumer: "It was our first game after having a full week to train together, and you can already see the boys beginning to come together as a team. There were some very good moments today, and it was especially encouraging to see them applying things we worked on throughout the week. It was a positive first step. We have a solid foundation to build on, and we will continue to grow, improve and become stronger together. A good start from the boys — and there is much more to come."

Congratulations to Japhy McGuinness on representing St. Francis Men's Soccer as a collegiate athlete! 🇳🇱

Japhy came to us from the Netherlands and spent his season with our Cádiz CF Integrated Academy in Spain. Now he's competing in the U.S. college game — St. Francis competed at the Division 1 level in the 2025-26 season.

From Holland to Spain to Division 1 soccer. Proud of you, Japhy — go get it. 💪

Our Girona gap year squad was in the stands for Girona FC vs Las Palmas — the club's own atmosphere, their own supporters, their own home ground.

This is the part that doesn't show up in a training schedule. When you're integrated into a club, you're not visiting it. You train on their pitches, you're around their staff, and on matchday you're in the stands watching the first team you're a part of. That's the difference between a soccer trip and an actual pathway.
