One of the coolest moments from this season.
This past weekend at G365 The Extravaganza , our 13U Select team had the opportunity to compete against a very talented group visiting from Manila, Philippines .select.team
After the game, both teams came together for a picture.
Competition brought us together.
Respect kept us connected.
Moments like these remind us that this is bigger than basketball.

Basketball is the game.
But the friendships, memories, lessons, and opportunities are what last.

As a coach, I couldnât be more proud of this group.
Our 13U Elite boys stepped up and competed in the 14U Bronze Divisionâand didnât just hold their own.
They went undefeated.
They battled. They stayed together. They responded when it mattered most.
And after a championship game that came down to the wire, they earned the title.
Growth happens when youâre willing to accept the challenge and compete!
Congratulations to our LSBA 13U Elite .
CHAMPIONS.

As parents, itâs natural to hear:
âI want to make the team.ââ¨âI want more playing time.ââ¨âI want to be a starter.â
Those are goals.
But goals alone donât create progress.
The real growth happens when players learn to connect those goals to actions they can control:
âď¸ Attending every workoutâ¨âď¸ Training consistentlyâ¨âď¸ Taking ownership of their effortâ¨âď¸ Responding positively to coachingâ¨âď¸ Staying committed when results arenât immediate
As parents, one of the most valuable things we can do is help shift the conversation from outcomes to habits.
đInstead of asking, âDid you make the team?â
Try asking, âWhat did you do this week to get closer to your goal?â
Goals provide direction.
Daily actions create results.

Every season starts with a decision.
đWho do you want to become?
The work has a way of finding the players who are serious about the answer.
