Life doesn't always slow down when we need it to.
The to-do lists keep growing, the noise keeps coming, and the demands don't magically disappear.
That's why I've learned to intentionally create moments of peace.
For me, that place is often my backyard oasis. ๐ฟ It's where I can breathe deeply, quiet my mind, reconnect with nature, and simply be.
These moments don't have to be long or elaborate. Sometimes just a few minutes of stillness can help reset your nervous system and remind you of what truly matters.
Peace isn't something we have to wait for, we can choose to cultivate, one small moment at a time.
Where do you find your peace? I'd love to hear about your favorite place to pause, breathe, and reconnect. ๐

Did you feel the magic in the air at our iTAV event? ๐ฟ
Our village came together in such a beautiful way, raising over $6,500 to support survivors of domestic violence!
But guess what? The branches of our Giving Tree are still reaching out, and thereโs still room for your heart to grow with us! ๐ณโจ
If you couldn't make it to the poolside celebration, you can still be a vital part of this ripple of healing. Our Village Giving Tree is all about turning compassion into action. Every tax-deductible donation goes directly to Nosilence Noviolence, helping families transition from crisis to stability through education and direct support. ๐๏ธ๐
Whether itโs a little or a lot, your contribution helps a woman feel surrounded, supported, and seen. Letโs hit that $10,000 goal together and show the world what a village can do! ๐ฅโจ
Ready to make a difference? Head over to https://givebutter.com/itav-tkyvta to donate today.
Letโs keep this momentum blooming! ๐ธ

For many of us, suppressing our emotions wasn't a choice. It was a survival strategy.
We learned to stay strong, keep moving, and push our feelings aside because that's what felt safest at the time.
But what protects us in one season can begin to weigh us down in another.
Healing doesn't require us to relive every painful moment. It invites us to gently acknowledge what we've been carrying, release what no longer serves us, and create space for greater peace and well-being.
Your emotions aren't the enemy. They're messengers.
When we listen with compassion instead of judgment, we open the door to healing not only our hearts, but our minds and bodies as well. ๐๏ธ

I've learned that some of life's most meaningful moments happen between the agenda items.
A genuine laugh.
A heartfelt conversation.
A new friendship.
Connection is one of the greatest gifts we can give each other, and it's often where healing begins.๐

Grief doesn't check the calendar. It doesn't take weekends off. It doesn't pause for holidays, birthdays, vacations, or life's milestones.
It can show up on an ordinary Tuesday, in the middle of a meeting, while grocery shopping, or during what should have been a joyful celebration.
That's the nature of grief. It's deeply personal and often unpredictable.
Sometimes the people carrying the heaviest grief are the ones smiling the brightest. They're showing up for work, caring for their families, and quietly carrying a loss no one else can see.
That's why kindness matters. A simple text. A phone call. An invitation to coffee. A reminder that someone isn't alone.
If someone comes to mind as you read this, trust that nudge. Reach out. You never know how much your presence could mean.
And if they're looking for gentle guidance through life's many losses and transitions, Healthy Grief was written for moments just like these. It's a compassionate resource to help people understand their grief, honor their journey, and move forward with hope.
Sometimes the greatest gift we can offer isn't having the right words. It's simply reminding someone they're not walking this path alone. ๐ค
Who in your life could use a little extra kindness today? Send them a message, share this post, or let them know you're thinking of them.
