Truth!
I believe there are two hitters in EVERY, SINGLE, PLAYER.
There is a Confident-hitter and Non-Confident hitter.
Confident Hitter:
- Plays both sides of the field well.
- Steps in the batter's box with calmness, toughness & focus.
- Takes controlled-violent swings on pitches they're HUNTING.
Non-Confident Hitter:
- Takes their bad at-bats to their defense.
- Steps in the batter's box with tension pressure & anxiety.
- Swings at everything while trying to pull pitches they have no business pulling.
One way to become confident while driving the ball with authority is to practice it in a controlled environment.
You can start by doing drills that encourage aggressive swings, with the RIGHT mindset, like the one you see here.
This is one of the most popular videos in the QAB Academy this month.
It's called: The Quick Swing Drill @ Qualityatbatsacasemy .com
Sometimes, all it takes is one piece of advice, one adjustment, one ah-ha moment to take your hitting to the next level.
Make it happen here.
Best,
P.S. The day you realize it's not about you, it's about you helping your team win, is the day you achieve true freedom and confidence at the plate.
