TADD Ranch

The things we find driving around the ranch. Evidently, I interrupted an intimate moment between two coachwhips, but it was difficult to tell if they were fighting or ….. They kept biting each other during this interaction as evidenced by one’s bloody head.

Then, we find a rat snake while walking the dogs.

The snakes are out! Be careful out there. Not all the snakes we encounter are as friendly as these. PSA: No snakes were harmed in the creation of this post. 😄

Good morning. Thankful to our Lord Jesus for a beautiful sunrise and another opportunity to walk in His purpose on the path He has laid out for us today. Have a blessed day!

Sometimes the things our barn cats leave on our welcome mat drives me batty! 😁

The agarita are blooming and smelling good. The red buds are blooming and looking good. Hopefully, our God will water His creation, in good measure, this week!

Took the dogs on a late walk this evening. Temperature was perfect and the sunset when we got home was worth sharing on Facebook. Blessed to live in a place to see God's artistry everyday! May God bless all of you also!

We had an unusual encounter today while walking the dogs (in the snow/ice). An osprey circled over us for quite a while. I had to solicit identification help from another Facebook Group, Birds of Texas. Thanks for the ID.

This winter storm afforded us a unique view of Enchanted Rock today. Usually it is just a pink hill on the horizon from our front porch. Today, it was white.

We are so thankful to God for the moisture with this front, and thankful to CTEC for keeping our electricity on!

Today was an unusual experience at TADD Ranch. We were driving around with our friend Chad Richard, when we found something we had never seen. See pics and video. The first picture raises the question of how Tim gets jabbed/stabbed by a live deer. The video shows the answer. Adult language in the video. Thank you Chad for capturing the moments.

Hopefully, we "saved a buck" today.
