I watched this movie with my dad when I was just a kid. As soon as the movie ended, I looked at him and said:

“Dad, I want to be a fighter. I want to travel the world and fight.”

He just smiled and said, “Okay, son.”

Little did he know that those words would become my life.

From that moment, I chased the dream. I fought, I traveled, I won, I lost, I got back up… and I never stopped believing.

Eu assisti a esse filme com meu pai quando ainda era criança. Assim que o filme terminou, olhei para ele e disse:

“Pai, eu quero ser lutador. Quero viajar o mundo lutando.”

Ele apenas sorriu e disse: “Tá bom, filho.”

Mal sabia ele que aquelas palavras se tornariam a minha vida.

A partir daquele momento, fui atrás do meu sonho. Lutei, viajei, ganhei, perdi, caí, levantei… e nunca deixei de acreditar.
