What a fun afternoon at the Wicomico County Fair!🎡🎟️🍉

Fairgoers joined in on the watermelon fun with seed-spitting and watermelon-eating contests!

I loved spending the afternoon with the community, cheering on the competitors, and sharing plenty of watermelon along the way. Thanks to everyone who stopped by and joined in the fun!

Turns out, it’s kinda chic to shop local, eat well, waste less, and support the people who make summer a little sweeter!

Basically……. watermelon is always a good idea!🍉🤍

That’s a wrap on the Mar-Del Queen Tour!🍉👑

Our fourth and final day began at Harris Teeter in Bowie, Maryland, where we spent the morning sharing the sweetness of watermelon! We handed out fresh watermelon samples, showed customers how to pick the perfect watermelon, and even surprised a few shoppers by adding watermelons to their carts!

Later that evening, we headed to the Rotary Crab Feast, where we kept the fun going by handing out refreshing watermelon slices to guests. A special thank you to Gibson’s Select for generously supplying the watermelons.

This week was filled with great experiences and so many special memories. We are thankful to everyone who welcomed us and helped make the Mar-Del Queen Tour possible. We loved sharing and celebrating Mar-Delicious watermelon along the way!🛒🍉🦀

Day 3 of the Mar-Del Queen Tour began in Baltimore, Maryland, at Harris Teeter, where we handed out watermelon samples to customers, gave tips on how to pick the perfect watermelon, and even helped put a few in their carts! We loved seeing the smiles that a sweet slice of watermelon can bring!

After that, we made our way to WMDT’s First Thursday Concert in the Park, where we joined the Maryland Department of Agriculture to hand out watermelon slices to attendees while enjoying a beautiful summer evening filled with music and community. A special thank you to Vincent Farms for generously donating the watermelon!
