In 2025, RIDC expanded our reach to the next generation, connecting with young athletes at races, community events, and leadership conferences while helping them see new possibilities in the running industry.

That work is creating real pathways! Students Run Philly Style received a $300,000 grant to bring trail running into its programming, supported in part by RIDC’s research on racial diversity in trail running.

We also had the pleasure of leading wellness activities at the Black Student-Athlete Summit and presenting the keynote at the Captains’ Practice Leadership Conference last year.

More young runners. More access to the outdoors. More opportunities to belong. This is what impact looks like!
