He’s been studying me more than I thought. My 2 year old watching football with me, fully locked in, and then at the end he does my exact reaction, the clap, the “yup,” all of it. Starting him young and it’s already paying off 😂

Started a new series: Holsinger Hard Knocks. Same idea as the NFL’s Hard Knocks, coaches breaking down film with the players, except it’s just me talking through my own reps. First one: Cover 2 safety technique, staying over top and reading the backside post into an interception.

Filming content in the backyard, minding my business… she hit the car alarm just to catch this reaction on camera. This is what content creation actually looks like behind the scenes 😂

Getting back to playing defense has been one of my favorite parts of this season. First play in this clip, I had my fingertips right under the ball, just couldn’t find the angle to bring the interception in. Second play I stayed disciplined on top of the #2 receiver threatening vertical, then got over to the sideline and used the boundary to my advantage, playing the rail route. Anyone else enjoying this season?

Two receivers to my side, neither one really threatening me deep. This is where most safeties bail on the underneath route and get burned on the backside post.

I trusted my landmark, stayed patient in my pedal, and kept my eyes on the QB instead of the receivers. Bit a little at the top and had to recover with a speed turn, but staying disciplined in that drop is exactly what put me in position to break and finish the pick. 🏈
