Inspired by the beautiful and brilliant elianne el-amyouni (twitchy witch) I’m remembering my voice. Sharing what comes through after a long hiatus.

And finally starting that Substack. Since I’ll be going dark on all socials for at least the next 7 days, join me there….💜✨🐦‍⬛

Delighting in the invitation to return to long-form content where I will share all the things…..

Do the thing.
Wear the thing.
Say the thing.
Post it.

Trust your knowing above all else. No one else could possibly know what is right for you. Ever.

And that even goes for the stupid s**t that you do that you know you probably shouldn’t.

That’s because your soul is orchestrating every moment to bring you closer to YOU, free from the limitations of your mind, programming and conditioning of the world.

You. Are. Whole. Perfect. And. Complete.
Forever and always.
In every moment.

No conditions.

No fillers required.

No contortion required.

No compromise required.

Everything you ever were, will be, and are is in this moment. Here. Now.

The key is to remember that and stop deviating when you convince yourself that the lies are bigger than you.

It’s been 3 days since I said goodbye to my best friend.

Ed has been my closest confidant and most beloved companion for over 17 years.

I’ve stewarded many beloved furbabies in my life, but only one dog ~ turned velveteen rabbit ~ who I was fully responsible for.

I grew up with just cats and I thought I was a cat person, and if you know me, I am.

But Ed, he changed me.

I always wanted to be a mom, since I was old enough to say it. I deeply, truly, madly desired to birth children (I have yet to).

Though, never before I fully could stand inside myself as a whole being, one that didn’t seek to fill holes inside myself through another.

Ed burrowed into that space and birthed the version of me who would selflessly caretake another for the sheer love and joy of it.

We chose each other…..

He taught me to trust myself. To tune out to tune in.

He reminded me of play and movement and the simplicity of just being without agenda.

He taught me sooooo much about clear communication and boundaries.

I feel so very sad and life is very different than it was just a few days ago.

And I feel so very blessed for our time together and that he trusted me to walk him Home when the time came.

I prayed that he would go in his sleep as Luna held vigil over him, purring the pain into the background.

There are not words to adequately express all that I’m feeling, but this touches on it.

Rest easy, sweet baby bear.

I love you to eternity and feel you even more now as we find this new rhythm together, you guiding me now.

RIP Edward 3/29/2009 to 7/13/2026 ❤️

There’s something deeply nourishing to be willing to sit with ourselves in the discomfort without attempting to fix it.

I notice myself on heightened alert after several days of intermittent fasting.

This is not a state that I’m particularly used to after several years of engaging in “the work.”

From this place, I feel it as shedding of the old.

In Buddhism it would be seen as samskaras releasing.

They’ve served and there’s no resistance or clinging so they can slough off the field - dissolve into the nothingness they always were.

Once upon a time, I would’ve called this anxiety and worked to discharge it.

There is tremendous liberation in being with it and letting it work itself through - the leaf floating along the river of life.
