What a great busy weekend for Alyssa, Mackenzie, and I. Thursday Alyssa and I started the weekend off at the Calaveras Rodeo Queen speeches/ crowing, each contestant did an amazing job. Congratulations to Gracie and Payton on a job well done representing Calaveras County this past year. Congratulations to the new queens: Aurora, Alisha, and Mina!

Friday, all 3 of us kicked off Gold Country Pro Rodeo in style with our patriotic wardrobe. Thank you to Jessica Clark for letting me use your best boy Midas and of course Ella! There we got to carry sponsor flags, of course do our queen waves and, my favorite part of all participate in happy trails! Thank you Gold Country for having us.

Saturday, Mackenzie and I traveled back up to Calaveras for the CCPRA rodeo, we participated in grand entry on the back of a truck. It is always great seeing our sash sisters and catching up! It was a great rodeo with exciting participants.

Sunday, Alyssa and Mackenzie made their way back to Gold Country for tough enough to wear pink day. I wasn’t able to make it due to my livestock but they had a great time!

Great job representing this weekend ladies🩷🩷.

Today I had the honor of attending the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Foundation golf tournament at Valley High Country Club. It was a great morning meeting the people who support our foundation and make this all possible. I enjoyed spending time meeting new people and even trying out putting! Thank you to the Sheriff’s Foundation for having me💙.

What a great past few days it has been at the 150th Ione Homecoming!

On Friday we started with the kiddie rodeo where there was plenty of fun for the kids but my favorite event will always be mutton bustin.

Saturday we started bright and early with the parade, the perks of living so close in town was being able to walk from my house to the parade! After that we had a little bit of downtime before we started with all things rodeo it was a great night and by far a great weekend❤️🤍💙.

Now to get ready for our Sacramento County Sheriff’s Foundation golf tournament tomorrow morning.

Today was a great day at the Capitol for California AG Day despite the rain, I got to spend time with fellow advocates for Agriculture and of course my sash sisters.
The theme this year was, “California Leads,” a nod to all of the ways our farmers, ranchers and rural communities lead the nation and the world when it comes to productivity, innovation and sustainability.
I also learned that 2026 is the International Year of the Woman Farmer, being a woman in agriculture is one of the best decisions I could’ve possibly made just as rodeo it runs deep into my heart. After the fun there Cooper, my mom, and I headed over to the Governor’s Office! Thank you Kim for taking the time to show us around. There we got to tour where our California Governor does all his work and got to see some cool history. The statue of a bronze bear is shown at the swing space of the temporary office while the new annex is being built, it had been at the front entrance to the Governor’s Office in the State Capitol since it was purchased by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2009. It is told that one of the more memorable stops is the Governor’s Office – not to see the Governor but to visit the bronze bear. It was a great Tuesday down in Sacramento🌾👩🏽‍🌾🐻🌽.

Last night I had a great time at the 2026 Miss Rodeo Oakdale coronation, Huge congratulations to Delaney Grace I am so excited to have you as my sash sister for yet another title! While I was there I had the privilege of speaking with Sujhey Rosas Miss Rodeo California 2026 and Miss Rodeo Mississippi 2026 Brinkley Boswell.

Last week I had a fun filled 3 days at the first ever Ione Homecoming Rodeo Queen competition where I got to help the girls, MC, and most importantly crown some amazing young ladies who earned the title! This competition felt extra special because being a first ever queen is a big deal, you set the standard for generations of queens to come and you make history. In 10 years when they ask the question “Who was the first ever queen” your name will be said. Congratulations to Scarlett Aston and Miller Hammam I have no doubt you ladies will succeed beyond the crown!
