Age is just a number! These ladies are redefining what’s possible. At almost 57, Mandy Grimes crushed her PR from 2017 in 5:27 and claimed her 5th 70.3 world champs slot! At almost 66, Marianne K. Morrill hit her highest ever IM 70.3 podium and claimed her very first world championship slot! We can’t wait to watch these ladies compete at the World Championships in 🇺🇸 next year. 🏊♀️🚴🏽♀️🤸🏼♂️

What a great weekend in Panama City! Deanna and Jason rocked the 55 to 59 a group with a big win from Deanna and a fourth place finish from Jason. After a shortened swim, Deanna held 22+ mph on the bike and ran a 1:32 half marathon. Jason averaged 24+ mph and ran a 1:43 half marathon. Great work and !

Our very own Connie Henderson was recently named the recipient of TD Bank’s 2025 Community Volunteer Leadership Award.
As a result, TD Bank generously donated $5,000 to the charity of her choice. As the head coach of the Mecklenburg County Special Olympics Swim Team, these funds were sent directly to Mecklenburg County’s program, and will be used to support her swimmers for years to come!
What an important role Connie plays in our community and with — a few athletes were privileged to see her in action on deck this season as lane volunteers during Saturday practices. We are so proud of her, this accomplishment, and her continued work with ❤️
