Sunday scout trip on the California Delta! Covered a lot of water starting on the SJ side ended on the Sacramento. We found fish almost everywhere we looked. Lot of shakers as well as a few keepers for tacos 🌮

KING SALMON SEASON !!!
As we approach July and the opener of River salmon season the excitement is building up. After a limited season last year, we’re back on track for a full inland season opening July 16 th with a two fish limit! I will be offering trips on the Sacramento and Feather River. Hey all! I have availability for Striped Bass in the California delta here in the next few weeks. These are fast paced trolling trips, where we will cover lots of water hunting down pockets of fish!

Even on days without clients we enjoy hitting the river regardless!! Kept things simple and old school today. Sardines and anchovies on balance beam. Kept a couple fish for tacos tonight and released the rest.

Today we participated in the Get Out and Fish annual Verona river takeover tournament and took the win! Just a friendly tournament for bragging rights with a handful of other skilled local guides. We boated well over 20 fish, Hayden Joost nailing the 27”slot winner!! Had a blast fishing with you guys today, thanks for coming out

Changed things up this weekend and hit the feather river instead of the delta. We had to w**d through a bunch of shakers (undersized fish) to find some keepers. Saturday was faster action than Sunday but that’s all part of the process. Call for your adventure 916-276-7606
