Lady Dukes OH Bragg

This group is ready to come out swinging . First practice is this upcoming weekend and we can’t wait to get on the field together again after a much needed break.

Congratulations to our very own Maddy Kwiatkowski for committing to Davenport University!! Can’t wait to watch you ball out this fall !!!

Well, just like that our Summer came to an end. Finished 16th at TC Nationals going 6-3. We were 1 game away from Back to Back top 10 finishes in One of the 3 Main National’s.

When we put this team together last year it was built on depth and versatility, that was challenged right away. In the fall 1 of our 3 pitchers, who was also a big bat, went down with a shoulder injury. Fast forward to the summer, we lost our 2nd pitcher to a ACL injury who historically had a been a big bat for us as well. A few weeks later we had a catcher go down with a hand injury. The girls never gave up or complained and in several instances played out of position.

Our last 4 events we played with 2 pitchers and 1 catcher, but continued to battle all summer all while playing a monster schedule. Not that we play for wins and loses at this point, but our end of the year record ended up being 44-19-3.

Already can’t wait for the fall with this great group of players and families.

Triple Crown Nationals has tested this team in every way imaginable, and these girls continue to answer the challenge.

Despite battling injuries and adversity, this group refuses to quit. Every game has required someone new to step up, and that's exactly what they've done. The grit, resilience, and belief they have in one another is what makes this team special.

No excuses. No quitting. Just a team that continues to compete for each other.

The Lady Dukes came ready to compete at Triple Crown Nationals in St. Louis, finishing 2-0 in pool play against two quality opponents.

✅ Game 2: W 7-4 vs. Select Fastpitch Backsmeyer

What makes today even more impressive is that this group battled through adversity. Despite being down a pitcher and catcher due to injuries, these girls never made excuses. They stepped up, trusted each other, and played as one team from the first pitch to the last.

The resilience, toughness, and selfless attitude this team continues to show is what makes them special. Every player found a way to contribute, and it was a true team effort from top to bottom.

Bracket play starts tomorrow, and we're excited for the opportunity ahead. Keep competing, keep believing, and keep playing for each other.

This group continues to prove that success comes from playing for each other. There are no individual agendas, just a team committed to competing, supporting one another, and finding ways to win.

We're proud of the effort, resilience, and toughness these young ladies have shown all week.

Now it's time to reset, refocus, and get ready for Stingrays and Triple Crown Nationals!
