One of the hardest things about being a family is losing a loved one. It leaves a giant hole in our hearts. But it also reminds us of good memories and how important each one of us is. The Chargers have gained another angel....our beloved Katina Aitkens passed away on July 6.
Katina was always smiling, always giggling, and loved her people! She has been a part of team for decades and brought a lot of joy to her team, as well as everyone who knew her!
For those of you who are interested in attending services:
There is a trisagion service on Thursday, July 16, at 6:30 pm at Nicoletti, Culjis & Herberger Funeral Home, 5401 Folsom Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95819, followed by her funeral service on Friday, July 17 at 11 am at St. Katherine’s Greek Orthodox Church, 9165 Peets Street, Elk Grove, CA.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memorial donations made to Best Buddies or Special Olympics.
