Well this re*****on came a long ways from what it looked like I'll post before and after pictures here in a second.

Moving forward the metal parts have been taken care of we blasted the parts worked on alot of pitting and now we're fixing to start the reassembly process. It's starting to look completely different now from when it first came in.

As we continue with our project the stock is finished now we are moving on to the other parts and addressing those.

Just a little Project update the stock has been carefully wet sanded and buffed and now has its third coat of finsh on it. It's been great watching the grain and character of this wood come back to life with each coat. We've probably have 2-3 more coats left before this part is completed. Once the stock is finished I'll share some final photos and then we'll move on to the remaining parts of this project.

Restoration Project Spotlight
A customer recently brought us a Re*****on Model 550-1 .22 r***e that has definitely seen better days and wanted it restored and brought back to life.
This will be the first post in a restoration series where you can follow the project from start to finish and watch the transformation take place.
For Part 1, we're focusing on the stock. After stripping the old finish, sanding, and preparing the wood, the first coat of finish has now been applied. It's already starting to come back to life, and we're excited to see how it turns out.
