It doesn’t take “bigger spurs” or “kick harder” to get a horse moving freely from being sucked back and “lazy”.
It takes patience and repetition to SHOW the horse that moving out isn’t a punishment. It’s fun and rewarding 😊
Theo moves out now with JUST SEAT cues and a bare boot no spurs!
He’s actually now wanting to trot while we are walking! It’s finally “his idea” 😉
Theo walks relaxed, walks out then he has a smooth transition to the jog then moves into a working trot flawlessly! Super proud of my smart boy 💙
