Today's Dime of the Day is from Gavin Schirra from Champlin Dayton Athletic Assoc 7th grade team.

From the three-yard line they go twins left with two tight ends atrached to the right. Gavin shows a quick play fake to the RB before firing a strike on a slant behind the linebackers and in front of the safeties!

Gavin was one of the top quarterbacks in the 7th grade division of the tannermorgan7v7league this summer!

Great to see the work that Gavin put in in July and August showing up when they play real football!

Academy Play of the day!

2027 Minnesota Football Academy WR Thomas Niggler from Pillager Football has been making plays on offense and special teams.

Thomas takes the kickoff on the right hash, And follows his blocks across the field to the sideline. A standout in track, Thomas turns on the burners and follows his blocks down the sideline for his SECOND kickoff return touchdown of the game!

Academy WR Jt Lutgen comes across the field on a crossing route but gets vertical and finds space when he sees his QB extend the play.

JT then makes an elite one-handed sideline catch to move the sticks!

It was a beautiful night for football last night!

We jumped at the opportunity to sponsor the refs for an 8th grade game between Rogers Royals Football and White Bear Lake Football. Kids need to play football during football season!

Thanks to the coaching staffs for both teams for putting this game together so their kids can get more time on the field! Youth football in Minnesota is powered by motivated, dads and moms volunteering their time to teach kids this great game!

Today's "Dime of the Day" comes from 2028 Academy QB Graham Greseth Jr from Maple Grove Crimson Football against Ponies Football.

Greseth steps up the pocket to avoid pressure and drops a jump pass in the bucket (while getting hit), in stride to Lucas - 30 yards down field!

The step up to avoid backside pressure with pocket reset is a QBMotion MW staple!

The 6th grade championship game of the tannermorgan7v7league featured Rogers football vs Orono Spartan Football.

These two teams were a lot of fun to watch all season!

Team Tarbox from Rogers wins the championship for the second year in a row!

Thank you to the coaches and parents of all the teams that competed in our sixth grade division in our North and South Metro League this year!
