LADY ROADRUNNERS HONORED BY NEW MEXICO UNITED DURING GIRLS IN THE GAME NIGHT

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Last night, the Lady RoadRunners added another memorable chapter to their Foundation Years.
The organization was honored by New Mexico United during the club’s annual Girls in the Game™match, an evening dedicated to recognizing women and girls making a positive impact throughout New Mexico through athletics, leadership, and community involvement.

Representing the Lady RoadRunners were Head Coach Charles Caldwell, Founding Captain Alycia Harriott, Founding Five member Yarithza Moss, and Paige Jackson, who proudly represented Rio Rancho’s first women’s semi-professional basketball team on the field before thousands of supporters.

The recognition marked another milestone for a program that, just one year ago, existed only as a vision.
Throughout the evening, the Lady RoadRunners connected with fans, celebrated women’s sports alongside athletes from across New Mexico, and shared the organization’s mission with the broader community. OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

A new chapter in Lady RoadRunners Women’s Basketball history begins today.

We are proud to officially announce our first-ever partnership with a national professional sports organization, New Mexico United, as part of their Girls in the Game initiative.

This is more than a partnership—it is a milestone for our program, our athletes, and women’s sports throughout New Mexico.

When you purchase your tickets through the Lady RoadRunners, $5 from every ticket sold will directly support our women’s semi-professional basketball program and help us continue creating opportunities for current and future athletes.

As part of this special evening, New Mexico United will honor the founding players of the Lady RoadRunners Women’s Basketball program during a special halftime recognition on the field. These women helped establish the foundation of our organization, and we are incredibly grateful to see their commitment recognized on such a meaningful stage.

We extend our sincere thanks to everyone at New Mexico United for believing in our mission, supporting women’s athletics, and investing in the continued growth of our program. Partnerships like this strengthen the entire New Mexico sports community.

LADY ROADRUNNERS WOMEN’S BASKETBALL PRESENTS
AN OFFICIAL PARTNERSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT

WE HAVE OFFICIALLY OPENED OUR DOORS TO PARTNERING ORGANIZATIONS, TEAMS, BUSINESSES, ETC.

WE ARE PROUD TO BE PARTNERING WITH OUR UPCOMING COLLABORATING ENTITY(TO BE RELEASED).

THIS PARTNERSHIP IS WITH AN ORGANIZATION THAT HAS GARNERED LOVE, HONOR AND RESPECT THROUGHOUT THE NEW MEXICO COMMUNITY; AND STILL MAKING IMPACT THROUGH ELEVATED COMMUNITY OUTREACH, GROWTH MENTALITY, WINNING MINDSET AND PERSONNEL WHO ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT CONNECTIONS.

AS FAR AS OUR LIST OF POTENTIAL ORGANIZATIONS TO PARTNER WITH IN THE NEAR FUTURE, THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO HAS TO OFFER.

WE SAT DOWN WITH THEIR DECISION MAKING TEAM TO DISCUSS THE LOGISTICS OF A POTENTIAL CROSSOVER PARTNERSHIP AND WHAT THAT LOOKS LIKE FOR BOTH THE LADY ROADRUNNERS AND THEIR ORGANIZATION—-THE RESULTS WERE OUTSTANDING.

THERE WILL BE A ONE—NIGHT ONLY COLLABORATIVE EVENT AND MINI CELEBRATION THAT HIGHLIGHT WOMEN IN ACTION — WITH A SPOTLIGHT ON LADY ROADRUNNERS WOMEN’S BASKETBALL —-IN PART WITH US SUPPORTING THE EVENT THROUGH PROMOTIONS AND ATTENDANCE OF FAMILIES, FRIENDS, AND ADVOCATES OF THE LADY ROADRUNNERS PROGRAM.

WE ARE HONORED TO BE WORKING WITH THE GREAT TEAM AND GROUP OF ADMINISTRATORS WHO REACHED OUT TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN.

THIS IS OUR FIRST YEAR AND INAUGURAL EXHIBITION SEASON—WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET THIS TIME BACK.

WE WANT TO MAKE THIS YEAR AS MEMORABLE AS POSSIBLE FOR THOSE WHO BELIEVED IN THE GOAL OF OPENING A DOOR FOR PLAYERS OF RIO RANCHO/NEW MEXICO TO COMPETE AND BE RECOGNIZED THROUGH WOMENS BASKETBALL — FROM THE BEGINNING.

WE ARE EAGERLY LOOKING TO EXPAND OUR REACH FOR OUR TEAM, COACHES, AND PLAYERS, OUTSIDE OF THE BORDERS OF RIO RANCHO —TO MORE CITIES WITHIN THE NEW MEXICO STATE LINES. NEXT YEAR, THE U.S.
