I am feeling this today… Life is cyclical. 1st & foremost, I know where my hope & my help comes from! Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior. He is the God of All Creation! Me as His Child, WE as His Children, I am grateful that He calls me Daughter. I have given & I have received. As God provides the opportunities, I do & I help all that I can, be it in word or action. At the same time I have been honored & blessed by so many through the course of this life! I Love You. I Thank You. If necessary, If possible, or “just because” I am here for you! That’s my heart, 🙏💖🙏🥂
Exactly 2 months out from my 5/25/25 right TKR= Total Knee Replacementement. I got 2 full body workouts in at the gym this week & then 2 days outpatient physical therapy. I have full extension, & 130° Bend. This is a flagship week for me since I have not been in the gym for 8 months. I totally got in my head & I walked away from the gym when I was told I was not permitted to stand holding more than 10 pounds. At 61, the gym is my happy place and my healthy place!

Whoa! What a beautiful day to hang out outside, even if I want to get some things done on my computer. I am grateful for the opportunity. This “knee journey” is improving one day at a time! Some days one breath at a time! But it is improving! 🦵

Easter Sunday 2025! A different one for the books. My sweet sis Rebecca picked me up for church this morning, since I am not driving yet. Another sweet sis Julie brought me some groceries & hung out for a bit! Now for a quiet remainder of my day.
**Wow! I am so looking forward to being able to drive again! Some of these moments of “shut in“ have not been Fun for this Extreme Extrovert!

**Behind on posting
4/7/25 I finally arrived home post 2 weeks after my total knee replacement. Tuesday, my 1st full day home, I was visited by 3 of my Bunco Babe’s! Susan Banta Long, Kathleen Steiner & Melissa McLeod. Thank you Ladies so much for the food, the flowers, & Your Presence! Once my day slowed down, I headed out to my outdoor comfy space. I enjoyed some vitamin D! Today, Wednesday 4/9/25 I had my 1st doctors appointment. I only went to see the PA. But had a wonderful surprise opportunity to see my surgeon Dr. Wm. Nordt. It was a great visit. My progress is a little behind on my flexion in my knee bend. I was so blessed to have my 2 weeks stay between the acute care hospital & Sheltering Arms Rehab Hosp. But I think I had a little too much time in the hospital bed during that time. Now is the time to really buckle down in getting my daily exercise complete. I’m hoping to get my 2x a week//for 8 weeks PT started soon. I just need to figure out the transportation for those visits. Sometimes it’s one day at a time LOL sometimes it’s one breath at a time! But I Always know “God’s Got Me” 🙏💝🙏 I Thank You All for your continued thoughts and your continued prayers!
