The City’s Corporate Challenge 5K run will take place on August 23rd at the UTD campus. Please be aware that several road closures will impact your area during this event.

- Westbound Campbell Road from Floyd Road to Waterview Parkway — All lanes closed
- Northbound Waterview Parkway from Campbell Road to Synergy Park Boulevard — All lanes closed
- Eastbound Synergy Park Boulevard from Waterview Parkway to North Floyd Road — All lanes closed

FINAL CALL for Parade participants!!! If you want to be in the Parade, please register early to avoid the rush! Don't miss the July 4th Parade and celebration.

To avoid a mad rush on July 4th, PLEASE sign up in advance at the link below if you wish to be in the Parade. Registrants on July 4th MUST register by 9:30AM to be eligible in the contest. Any registrations after this time may join the parade but will not be eligible to win a trophy.

Location: Meet at II Creeks Plaza - volunteers will help direct you to the Check-In table

10:10 AM Singing of the National Anthem
10:15 AM Parade begins!

After the Parade there will be a celebration on the lawn of the Canyon Creek Country Club with a DJ, Bounce Houses, Face Painting and more! All of this is FREE for our neighbors. Canyon Creek Country Club will have food and beverages for sale as well (you can use cash, credit card if you are not a member). There will be a Trophy for each category and this year, a special Grand Prize Trophy will be awarded after the Parade by the DJ Station at the Canyon Creek Country Club.

It's about the Dog Days of Summer, and the pups are just as excited about the 4th of July Parade as we are! Parade T-Shirts are running out fast! Come by tomorrow, Sunday, from 12pm-3pm to grab your shirt (while supplies last). Pick-Up @ II Creeks Shopping Center (in the old Crull Fitness Building).

If anyone needs boxes, we have plenty of empty boxes from the tshirts. We are up at II creek’s shopping center Ste. 801 until 1 pm today and 12-2 pm tomorrow. First come, first served.

July 4th T-Shirt Pick-Up @ II Creeks Shopping Center (in the old Crull Fitness Building) will be at the following times:

- Saturday June 27: 9 am -1 pm
- Sunday June 28: 12 pm - 3 pm
- Tuesday June 30: 5 pm - 7 pm (while supplies last)

The Richardson Health Department plans to ground spray between Point North Parkway south to Campbell Road and Floyd Road east to Prairie Creek. areas twice this week starting this evening, Tuesday, June 23 and Wednesday, June 24, weather permitting, to help prevent the spread of the West Nile virus. The decision to spray comes after City Health Department workers were notified that traps located within the subject spraying locations returned mosquitoes that tested positive for carrying the disease.
