NC Bass Challenge

Dirty Thirty! Shane Doughtie and Evan White win with mega bag!​ They took home $5,200 in winnings today after bringing 30.13 pounds of Chowan River bass to the scales today including the tournament big fish that hit 9.59 pounds on the Neuse Sport Shop NC Bass Challenge scales today!

This Saturday we will follow up the Bassmaster Elites as we head to the Chowan River. Join us at Pembroke Creek in Edenton, NC this Saturday for what we anticipate as being one of our best events of 2026.

We are very saddened to hear about the loss of long time angler, Dennis Boykin. Dennis passed away on June 7. Dennis fished with the Bass Challenge for many years with his partner Jimmy Hipkiss. He will be missed by his family, friends, and the eastern NC fishing community. We will have a moment of silence for Dennis before blast off at our next event on the Chowan River (June 20).
