Nobody handed me this list.
I had to learn some of these the hard way.
The degree, the house, the career - I chased all of it. But those wern’t the most important things to prioritize.
I had to realize that the people in my life, my peace, my health, and my presence mattered more than any of it.
Now I tell my kids every day.
And I help leaders remember what they forgot somewhere between the promotion and the burnout.
Which one do you wish someone had told you sooner? 👇
Resilience Rewired
Reset your mindset, silence self-doubts, and create healthy habits!
Slow mornings are my secret weapon.
Here’s what my morning routine looks like as a mom and entrepreneur — and why every piece of it is intentional.
☀️ Brain exercises first — before my feet hit the ground I’m challenging my brain with coordination and memory exercises. Your brain needs to be activated, not just caffeinated.
💧 Water before coffee — your brain is dehydrated after 8 hours of sleep. Water first means better focus before the caffeine even kicks in.
🧘 Stretching — 5 minutes of movement signals to your nervous system that it’s safe to shift out of sleep mode and into a regulated, focused state.
☕ Coffee outside. Alone. — this is non-negotiable. 10 minutes of silence, sunlight, and no phone. Morning sunlight regulates your cortisol curve and sets your circadian rhythm for the entire day.
👨👩👧 1 hour with my kids — no devices — snuggles, breakfast, games, crafts. Fully present before camp drop off. This is the most important meeting of my day.
🏠 Tidy the house — a clear space = a clear mind. External environment mirrors internal state.
📋 Daily COO Debrief — I review my priorities, identify my top 3 non-negotiables, and set my intention for the day before I open email or Slack.
🧠 Deep work block — my most cognitively demanding work happens here, protected, distraction-free, while my prefrontal cortex is at its peak.
💪 Gym + sauna — movement for brain health, sauna for nervous system recovery and stress resilience.
📞 Client meeting — by the time I show up for my clients, I’ve already taken care of myself first.
All of this before 1 PM.
Not because I’m superhuman. Because I protect my mornings like my performance depends on it.
Because it does.
Which one of these are you adding to your morning this week? 👇

I used to believe burnout was the price of admission.
Push harder. Work more. “It’ll calm down eventually.”
It cost me blue fingers. Full-body rashes. Losing my voice for 8 months.
These 5 beliefs ran my life for years — until they nearly ran me into the ground.
Swipe through and tell me which one you’ve believed too 👇
When I heard this I nearly choked:
“Stress related illnesses account for up to 80% of doctor visits” (JAMA) - some research showed up to 90% 😲
This was certainly true for me.
Multiple autoimmune disorders over the last 7 years - blue fingers, fully body rashes, brain fog, losing my voice for 8 months

Everyone knows healthy habits are important but why does everyone fall off 3 weeks later? nervous system on overdrive

She came to me as someone others turn to for guidance. A business owner, a mom, a woman who has done the inner work.
She didn’t think a coach could show her something new.
Eight sessions in, she cried twice answering the same question.
Not because she was broken. Because she finally felt safe enough to feel how powerful she actually is.
This is the work. Swipe to read her words.

The real and raw reason behind the TIMING of me leaving my corporate job
Walking into daycare to be told in front of a bunch of parents from the Daycare staff “I think your kid has autism” and a few weeks later a text encouraging us to find another school was gut wrenching.
But here’s the beautiful thing that happened:
1. It was the catalyst I needed to leave my corporate courier and scale my brain health and stress recovery business.
2. It gave me weeks of quality time with him to make up for time, lost previous years, overworking, and burnt out.
3. It allowed me to remove him from a toxic school environment and find a place that loves and support supports him.
Most importantly…
It gave me the opportunity to teach my three-year-old the stress, recovery tools. I’ve been teaching adults.
And boy did it work….
This kid is better than some adults at emotionally regulating himself!
when he’s upset, he finds a quiet space and does breath work
He’s learned to feel his emotions, process them, and regulate in a healthy way
Remember: some seasons that feel hard or uncertain are just a way of REMOVING what’s not meant for you and repositioning you for better things to come ❤️

Not present like your phone is face down.
Present like your mind is actually there - in the conversation, at the dinner table, with the people you love most.
I used to think I was present because I showed up. I was physically there.
The hard truth is that most of us are physically somewhere and mentally everywhere else.
At dinner but replaying a work conversation.
With our kids but half-composing tomorrow’s to-do list.
In bed exhausted but wide awake, brain still running at full speed.
This is not a discipline problem. This is not a time management problem. This is a nervous system problem.
When your brain is stuck in chronic stress mode, it literally cannot downshift.
The part of your brain responsible for presence, connection, and emotional regulation gets hijacked by the part that’s always scanning for the next threat. You’re not distracted because you lack willpower.
You’re distracted because your brain was never taught how to recover from stress.
That’s where brain health and stress recovery come in.
Small, neuroscience-backed habits that retrain your nervous system — so you can actually be where your feet are.
Put your phone down.
Take device-free walks
Have a meaningful conversation, looking them in the eyes
Your presence is the one thing nobody can buy back for you. But you can learn to protect it.
