🔥⚾️Player of the Game Wandre Martinez⚾️🔥
In a tough game, Wandre never stopped competing. Playing both 1st and 3rd base, he recorded 4 putouts and 1 assist, highlighted by a leaping catch on a fly ball, a snag of a hard-hit grounder, a fielder's choice that was nearly turned into a double play, and a heads-up play to catch a runner stealing third to end a difficult inning. His focus, hustle, and defensive play stood out from the first pitch to the last. ⚾💪

🏆 Player of the Game: #3 Colton Buck 🏆
Colton set the tone from the leadoff spot, going 3-for-4 with a single, double, and triple, finishing just a home run shy of the cycle. He scored 3 runs and was a threat every time the lineup turned over.
Behind the plate, Colton caught all 6 innings and made one of the biggest plays of the game by tagging out a runner attempting to steal home.
A complete performance from our leadoff hitter and catcher. Colton was a huge reason for today's win. Great job, Colton! ⚾🔥

🔥⚾️Tiago Garcia earns Player of the Game honors ⚾️🔥
After leading the Silver Sox to a victory over the Greenfield Pirates with a dominant performance on the mound. Tiago came within one out of a complete game, pitching 5⅔ innings with 6 strikeouts and no walks. He also made an impact defensively with 1 putout and 2 assists, including a key double play, and contributed offensively with a single and a run scored. A tremendous all-around effort that helped power the Silver Sox to the win!

🔥⚾️Logan Gomes earned Player of the Game⚾️🔥

with an outstanding defensive performance. At shortstop, he made a leaping catch to rob what would have been a line-drive double. Later, he took the mound and closed out the game, shutting down King City's comeback attempt.
He capped off the victory by securing the final out with a fly ball, sealing the win for the Silver Sox.

What an amazing way to wrap up the 2026 Manzanita Little League season! ⚾️

Thank you to everyone who came out to our closing ceremonies! We had such a great turnout and loved celebrating all of our players, families, coaches, and volunteers together. A huge thank you to Prunedale Round Table Pizza for helping us celebrate, and of course the delicious root beer floats were a big hit!

Most importantly, thank you again to all of our incredible sponsors for your continued support throughout the season. We truly could not do it without you!
