This rapid success is anchored by a standout season as the North American Prep Hockey League (NAPrepHL) National Championship Runner-Up. Along the way, our program has secured notable victories against elite North American academies, prep schools, 18U AAA programs, and select Tier 3 junior teams.

2007 FORWARD TREY KLINE RETURNS HOME FOR POSTGRAD SEASON

Delta College Prep is extraordinarily excited to announce the return of 2007 forward Trey Kline for the 2026-27 postgrad season.

The Mayfield, Ohio native returns after gaining valuable Tier II junior hockey experience with the Philadelphia Little Flyers and Connecticut Nor’Easter of the EHL, appearing in 15 games following two successful seasons in the NAPrepHL. Delta has a proven history of helping players transition back from this level, and Trey returns with the experience and maturity to make an immediate impact.

Head Coach Mitchell Gillespie:
“After spending part of last season with us, Trey advanced to the Little Flyers EHL program, where he gained valuable high-level experience over 15 games. TK possesses the raw skill set to completely take over a game whenever he wants. We’re expecting a massive season from him as we continue preparing him for Division III college hockey and the next step in his career.”

“Trey has an obvious skill set that stands out to anyone who watches him play. He’s been around our program for a long time, and we’re incredibly grateful to welcome him back. As an Ohio product, Trey shares our mission of bringing Delta College Prep its first national championship. Signings like Trey make that goal realistic.

We’re excited to help guide him toward the next level, whether that’s NCAA Division III or a full-time Tier II junior opportunity. He understands what it takes to earn that interest, and we’re looking forward to seeing him put everything together this season.”

2009 FORWARD NICHOLAS BODEN SIGNS WITH DELTA COLLEGE PREP

Delta College Prep is pleased to announce the signing of 2009 forward Nicholas Boden from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

The 5’9” dynamic forward brings valuable 16U AAA experience from the Pittsburgh Vengeance, Palmyra Black Knights, and West Chester Wolves Academy, competing in the THF, UT1HL, and PPHL. Boden joins Delta after establishing himself as a skilled, high-tempo offensive player with the ability to create separation and generate scoring opportunities in tight spaces.

General Manager David Dew:
“Boden has played with us for multiple summers through the MOLE Hockey platform. He possesses an incredibly fast-paced skill set and has a unique ability to create space with the puck in small areas. He already knows our staff well, and I believe he’ll flourish within our prep environment before making the jump to Tier II junior hockey. Bodes may be new to Delta, but he’s no stranger to us. The sky is the limit for Nicholas and for what he can bring to our team this season.”

“Nicholas is a 2009 center from Pittsburgh who is a dynamic offensive threat. His skill, speed, and vision give him the ability to be the engine that drives our offense.

Bodes has spent the last two years working with our MOLE program, where we’ve built a tremendous relationship. He’s consistently proven himself to be an elite talent, leading our MOLE Futures teams in scoring over multiple tournaments. He’ll be an incredible addition to Delta College Prep, and we’re excited to see him put on a Delta jersey this season.”

DELTA BRINGS ON LOCAL STANDOUT 2011 GOALTENDER JADON SANTAN

Delta College Prep is excited to announce the signing of 2011-born goaltender Jadon Santan from Columbus, Ohio.

Santan joins Delta after an outstanding season with the Columbus Capitals 2011 AA program, where he established himself as one of the area’s top young netminders. He now enters a competitive veteran goaltending group that includes two goalies at least two years older than him, giving him an excellent environment to continue his development. The future is exceptionally bright for the young Columbus native.

General Manager David Dew:
“I’m really excited about Jadon. He’s very young for our level, but I truly believe he has the potential to become our starting goaltender in the years ahead. We also share the same goaltending coach, Henry Dill, who I worked with during my playing career, and his recommendation of Jadon was exactly what we were looking for. Jadon was outstanding at our MHES Columbus Combine, proving he can compete with 18- and 19-year-old players. He already has an excellent technical foundation, and we’re excited to continue building on it.”

“Jadon made a tremendous impression at our MOLE Hockey Columbus Combine while facing junior, AAA, and prep-level shooters, proving he belongs at this level. His skating ability immediately stood out, and we believe he has an extremely high ceiling because of the foundation he’s already developed. 6’2”, 2007 FORWARD BURTON GALIPPO SIGNS WITH DELTA COLLEGE PREP FROM THE NA3HL

Delta College Prep is excited to announce the signing of 2007 forward Burton “Burty” Galippo.

A native of North Olmsted, Ohio, Galippo recorded 88 points over three seasons at the high school level before advancing to the NA3HL with the Tulsa Jr. Oilers. Last season, he appeared in 20 Tier III junior hockey games, continuing his development against older competition.

Head Coach Mitch Gillespie:

“Burty spent a weekend with DCP last season, where he made an immediate impression with his size, strength, and power. He has a very promising toolset to become an impactful player, and we believe he’ll reach that potential within our system.

We’re excited to welcome Burton to the group and expect him to make a significant impact both on and off the ice this season.”

“Burty is a very exciting addition to our program. We’ve successfully developed players coming from Tier III junior hockey before, and we believe the maturity he’s gained competing at that level will allow him to transition seamlessly into our environment.

He’s already generated early NCAA interest through our network, and I’m excited to see how he develops as one of our 2007 leaders. His combination of size, physicality, and proven scoring ability makes him a very intriguing piece of our roster this season.”
