Poughkeepsie Cardinals Youth Football & Cheer The Poughkeepsie Cardinals is an all-volunteer youth football & cheer program, and a member of Taconic Youth Football & Cheer (TYFC).

Our program is open to children ages 8-13

🚨 ATTENTION PARENTS 🚨

This message is for parents who have NOT yet turned in all of their child’s required paperwork.

Please come to practice TODAY so we can finalize everything for your child. If you have not already spoken with Coach DP or one of the Outlaws Head Coaches, please see one of us before or after practice today ASAP.

Please bring/turn in:
You will need all if not verified on NSID if so you need birth certificate.

* 📄 Copy of Birth Certificate
* 📚 Copy of Report Card
* 🩺 Medical Form / Current Physical
* 🏈 Completed AYF Paperwork

If you do not have the AYF paperwork, please contact Coach DP at 321-458-4529 to receive the PDF.

⚠️ FRIDAY IS THE FINAL DAY to have ALL paperwork completed and turned in. If your child’s paperwork is not completed by the end of this week, they will not be eligible to play this fall.

We understand this transition has been hectic and a little confusing. Please reach out—we are here to help get your child cleared and ready to play.

Parents if you have completed your NSID all you will need for practice is a Copy of Birth Certificate.

If you aren’t verified on NSID then you will need copy of Birth certificate, Report Card, and Physical.

Parents, as we get our 10U players transitioned over with the Outlaws, we need ALL required player documents sent over to the new Head Coach as soon as possible.

Please make this a priority today so the coaching staff has everything needed for your child.

⚠️ Tomorrow’s practice is VERY IMPORTANT! All players will be getting fitted for their jerseys, so we need everyone there and on time.

Please make sure your child’s documents are at practice tomorrow. (PDF is acceptable to send over) I know most parents put information in NSID but outlaws do not use that platform so we will need to send over documents to them to be eligible to play

📢 IMPORTANT 10U CARDINALS UPDATE 🏈❤️🖤

Cardinals families, our 10U team and Outlaws 10u will be joining forces this season! For the better of both organizations this will allow both teams to have a successful season moving forward

TODAY, our 10U players and families will meet up with the Outlaws so everyone can get together while having some food and drinks.

ARRIVAL: 5:00 PM

COMMUNICATION: The Outlaws & Cardinals will use the SportsEngine app for team communication, schedules, rosters, group chat and important updates. 10U parents, please be prepared to provide your full name and email address so everyone can get connected.

POUGHKEEPSIE VS FDR: After the meet-up, we’ll all be heading over to the Poughkeepsie High School football game together! Players and families are encouraged to join us.
