We decided to do exactly that: we took Grandma and our two boys on a Disney Very Merrytime Cruise. Walking into the ship atrium smelling fresh-baked gingerbread and watching the kids see Mickey and Minnie in full holiday suits beats traditional wrapped presents under the tree every single time.

帶小孩出門玩跟自己去真的完全是兩回事！身為雙寶媽＋旅遊規劃師，比起飯店拍起來美不美，我更在意的是全家人的體力跟理智線能不能保住。
Traveling with kids is an entirely different operational game than solo or couples travel. As a travel advisor—and a mom of two—my top priority isn’t just aesthetic photo ops; it’s protecting everyone’s energy levels and sanity.

這是我幫客人排行程、自己帶小孩出門時，一定會遵守的 3 大原則：
When vetting itineraries for clients (and planning for my own family), these are the 3 non-negotiable rules I live by:

1. 絕對不搭紅眼班機（Never pick a Red-Eye Flight）：
這件事情我真的做過很多次，最後一次真的徹底學到教訓！一大早飛到奧蘭多，小孩直接在早餐桌上斷電，眼神整個空空的，當下看著真的覺得好可憐啊……大人也累到懷疑人生，第一天基本上直接報銷。
Never Pick a Red-Eye Flight:
I’ve made this mistake multiple times, and the last one finally taught me a hard lesson. We landed early in Orlando, and the kids fell completely asleep at the breakfast table with totally vacant stares—it was heartbreaking to watch. The adults were utterly exhausted, and Day 1 was essentially a complete write-off.

2. 帶小孩出遊不要像行軍一樣（Schedule Buffer Time）：
行程一定要大量「留白」加緩衝時間。千萬不要排太滿，有了這些多餘的時間，中途如果有沒去到的地方、沒看到的景點，或是想好好休息，隨時都能彈性補上去，大人小孩才不會一起崩潰。
Schedule Buffer Time into the itinerary:
Family trips need intentional blank space on the calendar. When you build in dedicated buffer time, you have the flexibility to rest or circle back to attractions and sights you missed earlier without anyone breaking down.

3. 交通方便比飯店漂亮重要太多（Transportation over Aesthetics）：
對我們家來說，交通方便比飯店大廳美不美還要重要！在外面走了一整天，能夠快快回飯店休息，真的比其他設施重要許多。當然啦，在迪士尼其實很多離園區很近的飯店，裡面也剛好是很豪華的喔～
Ease of Transportation Over Hotel Aesthetics:
For our family, seamless transit matters far more than how fancy the lobby looks. After walking all day, being able to get back to the room quickly to recharge beats extra amenities every single time. (And honestly, at places like Disney, many of the closest resort properties happen to be gorgeous and upscale anyway!)

Yesterday I posted an IG story ranting about using AI to plan trips, and you all came through in the comments.

昨天我在 IG 限動小抱怨了一下用 AI 排行程這件事，大家的留言真的完全說到心坎裡！

Two points that hit the nail on the head
整理出兩大重點:

AI lacks accuracy: Algorithms can’t keep up with changing park rules.
AI misses the human touch: A bot doesn’t know how to tailor a trip to your family.

AI 準確度不足： 樂園規則一直變，演算法根本跟不上。
AI 缺乏溫度： 機器人不懂你的家庭需求，更無法量身客製。

Full honesty: I love AI for checking my grammar, writing Chinese, and sorting emails. But I would never use it to plan a Disney or Universal vacation. AI itineraries don’t reflect reality, and an algorithm can’t get to know you the way a real travel advisor does.

老實說：我超常用 AI 幫我檢查文法、輔助寫中文，還有整理 Email。但我「絕對」不會用它來排迪士尼或環球影城的行程。AI 排出來的行程完全脫離現實，演算法也永遠不可能像專業旅遊顧問一樣，真正去理解你的喜好和需求。

昨天 Oogie Boogie Bash 開跑，馬上就有人私訊問我：「如果買了晚上的派對票，那白天到底要怎麼排最順啊？」

真心建議這樣排：
早上先衝 Disneyland 把想玩的設施刷一輪。中午真的不要硬撐，回飯店躺個一兩個小時補血，把體力留給晚上。

Here is the move:
Hit up Disneyland early to knock out your must-ride list. By midday, do not try to be a hero—go back to your hotel, crash for an hour or two, and save your legs.

下午 3 點一到，直接殺進加州冒險樂園。趁 3 點到 6 點這段空檔，先把早晚餐解決、周邊商品買一買。
Head into DCA right at 3 PM. Use that 3 to 6 PM window to grab an early dinner and buy all your event merch.

這樣 6 點活動一開始，你至少有整整 6 個小時可以專心排反派拍照、看遊行、瘋狂討糖，或是無痛狂刷平常排到死的熱門設施，完全不用把時間浪費在排隊買飯上！
Once 6 PM hits, you have the 6 hours or more totally free to hit character spots, watch the parade, do treat trails, or walk right onto popular rides without wasting any precious party time in food lines.

Travel Advisor Rant | Price Per Night should not be the only factor when trying to decide where to stay at Disney

這幾天跟朋友聊到 去佛州迪士尼跟加州迪士尼 越來越貴 但是我也很清楚 如果只用房價去評估 在迪士尼裡要住哪裡 真的不會給客戶最好的經驗～～ 用房價 搭配距離， 交通方便跟飯店CP值來算才能夠找到適合自己的飯店
I’ve been chatting with friends these past few days about how trips to Disney World in Florida and Disneyland in California are getting increasingly expensive. However, I’m also very clear on one thing: if you evaluate where to stay inside Disney based solely on room rates, you won’t give clients the best experience. You need to balance room rate with distance, transportation convenience, and value for money (CP value) to find the right hotel.

常常客戶們想要最方便 可能是長輩同行 還是 小朋友要回房間睡午覺 但是其實不知道 到底要走多遠 或是坐接駁車多遠 這時候我帶他們看地圖把這些距離都解釋清楚後 就能夠 選擇最適合他們的飯店
Often, clients want maximum convenience—perhaps because they’re traveling with elders or young kids who need to head back to the room for an afternoon nap or rest . But they usually don’t realize how far they actually have to walk or how long the shuttle ride takes. Once I pull up the map and explain all these distances clearly, they can choose the hotel that best suits their needs.

我自己也是以方便為考量（走最少步回飯店） 所以都把預算調高一點 然後在預算內體驗到自己喜歡的飯店
Personally, I prioritize convenience above all (walking as few steps as possible back to the hotel). So I set my budget a bit higher, which allows me to experience a hotel I love within that budget.
