Congratulations to our Lax On Elite 2030s on capturing the Apex The Grind A Championship, adding another title to a group that has built a reputation for competing at the highest level.

This championship wasn’t built in one weekend.

It was built over years of practices, hard conversations, adversity, accountability, and teammates choosing each other every single day. That’s what makes this group special.

Now they close the chapter on youth tournaments and begin the next phase of their journey as they prepare to compete on the national recruiting stage at:

Senior Goodbye Series | Rylie Wiegand 🩵🥍

Sometimes, the right fit isn’t about finding better coaching.

It’s about finding people who believe in you.

Rylie joined Lax On Elite during her high school years looking for more than skill development. She was searching for a holistic experience with coaches who would challenge her on the field, build her confidence, develop her leadership, support her mental performance and help her navigate the recruiting process.

From day one, it just fit.

Rylie arrived as a talented attacker. Over the past few years, she continued to grow into a more confident player, a poised leader and someone younger athletes naturally looked up to. As a member of our Elite Leadership Academy and a Morgan’s Message Ambassador, she embraced the responsibility of giving back and helping the next generation.

That journey led her to a Division I commitment to Long Island University and an All County season at William Floyd High School.

The Wiegand family also became a huge part of who we are. Steve and Allison didn’t just support Riley they supported the entire team. Whether it was organizing hotels, planning team experiences or simply being there for every player, they made every trip and every season better.

Some families join a club.Others become family.

The Wiegands became family from the very beginning.

Senior Goodbye Series | Julia Corso 🩵🥍

Some families don’t just join a club…

They become part of its story.

From middle school through graduation, Julia Corso and the Corso family helped shape what Lax On Elite is today. From unforgettable team tailgates (the UMass weekend will always be remembered!) to cheering on every player as if they were their own, they created the kind of culture every club hopes to have.

On the field, Julia was everything a coach looks for. An incredibly talented defender with elite speed, relentless effort, and unwavering dedication. She competed every day, embraced every challenge and led by example. As a Leadership Academy mentor, she also invested in the next generation, proving that leadership is about much more than what happens between the lines.

Her journey has now led her to East Stroudsburg University, where she’ll continue her career as a Division II student-athlete.

When we asked Julia why she stayed, her answer perfectly captured who she is:

“I stayed because of my coaches and teammates. I grew so much as a player and person, and the leadership and guidance of my coaches made me feel seen.”

Julia, thank you for your kindness, your loyalty, your leadership, and for making this program better every single day. We are incredibly proud of everything you’ve accomplished and can’t wait to watch you continue your journey at East Stroudsburg.
