How to hold families, friendships, communities, businesses, projects, homes, and sometimes entire worlds together.

Many of us have become exceptionally good at giving.

But I’ve been wondering…

Who taught us how to receive?

Can you receive help without immediately thinking about how you’ll repay it?

Can you receive a compliment without deflecting it?

Can you receive care without feeling guilty?

Can you receive pleasure without performing?

Can you receive rest without believing you first need to earn it?

Can you allow another person to show up for you without automatically taking control?

Can you receive love while remaining deeply connected to yourself?

This is where the conversation about receptivity becomes so much more interesting.

Because receptivity isn’t simply being open.

And it certainly isn’t being passive.

Receiving requires relationship.

Relationship with another person.

Relationship with your environment.

And perhaps most importantly…
relationship with yourself.

Can I sense what I want?

Can I recognize what feels nourishing?

Can I allow something good to come toward me?

Can I remain connected to myself while I receive it?

Can I say YES?

Can I say NO?

Can I change my mind?

A lot of mainstream culture encourages women to gossip, to talk behind each other’s backs, to undermine one another, to compare, and to be in constant competition with other women.

This type of communication is destructive. It erodes trust, cuts deeply, & leads to a culture of violence in the world.

When we take back the power of our voices and use it instead to speak life into women, magic happens.

Women learn how to see themselves in another woman and have compassion.

Women learn how to speak from their heart to another woman.

Women learn how to receive love again.

Women feel seen and understood.

Women feel safe and like they belong.

Our words HEAL and have the power to affect whole households, families, and communities.

When we speak life into women, we are creating a culture of peace in the world 🌎

To be a Daughter of the Earth is to remember your sacred connection with this planet 🌎🌷

This is the threshold between spring and summer, the moment when life stops merely awakening and becomes fully, unapologetically alive.

Beltane is a remembering: you are not standing apart from this wildness. You are the bloom. You are the fire. You are life force moving into form.
