Apparently we just shipped Don Kelly to the snack aisle for a bag of chips.
Not even the good chips. The ones that are 60% air and somehow still stale.
Front office statement: “We felt this deal gave us the crunch we needed in the clubhouse.”
Somewhere in Pittsburgh a bag of Lay’s is currently managing a baseball team and somehow still has a better win percentage than last week.
At this point I’m just waiting for the follow-up trade:
“Pirates acquire a half-eaten bag of pretzels and a coupon for free soda in exchange for the entire bullpen.”
